My 93 year old friend Patricia and I (84) visited and had coffee and a cake, Good coffee, nice service. We booked dinner at 18,00 on our last evening in Loch Carron, but on the day, one of us fell ill. We therefore cancelled as soon as we could. Imagine my horror finding an £80 non attendance charge on my Visa. Extortion, a racket a money grabbing disgrace. Did they really believe they would have made £80 profit out of our attendance? A disgrace, extortionate, assisted by Visa.
Booked restaurant two weeks previous to our date of 7 th September for dinner my niece who lives in Plockton confirmed date and time o the evening of the 6th . We arrived at the restaurant on 7th to find it closed . No explanation given including no phone calls . Kwashiorkor told that this has happened before . Extremely disappointed. Thankfully we were accommodated at the Plockton Hotel which was extremely good and welcoming
Sadly due to weather issues the langoustine were not available. However, we still had a very nice meal. Service was warm and friendly. The food was very good with my scallops being nice and sweet. I had sea bass and liked the strawberry sauce that went with it. The veggies were also cooked nicely. We had no room for dessert but options looked good.
We have eaten here 3 times in one week, which is really excessive..but we couldn't help ourselves. Each time I suggested another place, but… Food is excellent and to a sensible menu. But its the staff that makes the difference….cheerful, friendly and low key. Plenty of fish and shellfish alternatives, plus for non-fish eaters. Well done gang! Reserva una mesa ahora
Luckily we had a table with my husband, he had the smoked haddock and I had the mussels, scallops and smoked mussels. It was fine and delicious. Best restaurant we've been to in 3 days in Scotland. The staff are charming, friendly and helpful. We had a great time in this cosy, quiet and tastefully decorated place.
Excellent combination of great food, service and ambience. There is the right amount of choice with lots of lovely seafood but something for the meat lovers too. Everything we had was delicious, seafood chowder, steak pie, smoked haddock and very good dauphinois. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend
The food at this restaurant is excellent, served in a charming atmosphere with exceptional, friendly, and welcoming service. It is the best dining experience we have had in Plockton. This was our third time visiting and we definitely plan to return!

Top quality restaurant, with a very agreeable atmosphere. Cannot recommend the seafood too highly, but non- seafood dishes equally as good. Focused, sensibly-priced wine-list. Engaging and efficient staff.

"Liver and onions was creamy and tasty. This is a quiet small hotel restaurant and a very nice menu. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately store bought and just average but enjoy the main course."
