An Überheblichkeit der Kellnerin leider nicht zu übertreffen! Wenn man selbst aus der Branche kommt, weiß man was man NICHT möchte. Da ich mit meinen Töchtern in der Grottenbahn war und dadurch natürlich nicht schick angezogen war, merkte man schon beim zu Tisch führen, den abwertenden Blick der Kellnerin. Es wurde lieblos ohne Lächeln auf dem Gesicht die Bestellung aufgenommen und nicht ein einziges Mal wurde sich erkundigt ob alles in Ordnung sei! Man merkt definitiv, dass Touristen nicht erwünscht sind! Sehr schade, dass auch keiner der Kellner ein richtiges Lächeln im Gesicht hat. My husband, son and I were sightseeing up in Postlingberg while in Linz. Travel sites said there were a few places to grab a bite to eat when there but due to the holidays, we found only this restaurant open. When entering, we were told we needed reservations but as we were ready to depart, the Maitre d'/host, Anton, said he would find us a table. The service was excellent and the dinning area is elegant. This is the 3rd high end restaurant we've dined at since being in Austria and we enjoyed the food here the most. My local trout with lentils had perfect texture and seasoning. The view is better than the food and service. I wish I could have come for lunch during the day, but dinner was planned with a group of girls from the office. The bread and dips were very delicious, but my main dish (lamb) was very tough. I was a little worried about having lamb with mashed potatoes and black beans, but the strange combination was very delicious. Just wish the lamb was more fall off the bone like I can get in the US. Exzellentes Restaurant mit tollem Blick über Linz. Das Essen war top und von hoher Qualität zu fairen Preisen. Die Weinkarte sucht seines gleichen in Linz und Umgebung, mehr als 10000 verschiedene Weine stehen zur Auswahl, inkl. toller Beratung. Very friendly staff that knows about gluten etc. All the sauces are made without flour and nearly every dish can be ordered glutenfree (with other sides, eg instead of noodles potatoes . Also the fish is not made with flour. We called beforehand and were handed gf bread as a starter (als "Gedeck" without any hesitation.

We‘ve been a big group of people to eat dinner there. After telling the waiter about several allergies and intolerances the owner came to talk about the menu he could offer. The chef created something unique and delicious, which was not listed on the card.

Sehr sehr gute Küche, kennen sich gut aus mit Kontamination. Mir wurde ein extra glutenfreies 5 Gänge Menü gezaubert. Freundlich und kompetent!
