Just a good place to eat. We passed through here on vacation and I wanted a place that sold good beef ribs. After a short search we found Pokey's. My kid's burger had a good taste, but the best part was my Rib. One was all you need. It was not fall off the bone, but that was the best part. You had to grab it and go primeval on it. The BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy. The side or rings had a good crunch to them as well. There were a few pieces of salad on my plate, but my kid grabbed them. It was one of those meals where you needed a nap afterwards.
This restaurant is fantastic! The service was top-notch. We were seated quickly, and our server was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. She brought the check at the perfect time. The food was incredible; the brisket and pulled pork were particularly outstanding. My wife loved the baked beans! The portions were generous, and I couldn't finish everything when I ordered a two-meat meal. The house fries were also excellent. If you're in Gillette and craving BBQ, this is the place to go!

We’ve just moved to Gillette from the east coast and I saw an ad for pokeys in a hotel. Excellent service and great food! My family and I left very full and very happy
