Having not ventured back to Poland for a while, we'd noticed thus bar whilst travelling through Holborn, and finally got to pop in at the weekend. It opens at 6p.m. on a Saturday, we went in at ten past, and it was already full of people (it's not the biggest place), but we managed to get the last free table. Orders are taken and paid for at the bar, the menu's not huge, but what there is makes up for that! We tried the small beetroot soup and bigos, followed by the Kielbasa and goulash mains, all very nice indeed and a very reasonable 24 quid. We'd definitely go back again and only wish we'd tried it on previous visits to the area.

Great bar with friendly staff and amazing food. I haven't tried much Polish food before but if the stuff served here is an example of it then I want more. The bigos (a stew of smoked meats) was one of the best things I have stick in my mouth. We also tried the perogi dumplings and those too were fabulous. The prices are unbelievably cheap for central London! They have a huge range of flavours vodkas of which we samples quite a few. My favourite was the hazelnut caramel vodka. They also have a nice selection of beers too. Again, the prices are very reasonable for the location. Highly recommended.

Do not be discouraged by the garage doors or the alley location, this hidden gem is worth a visit. Located two blocks east of the Holborn Tube Station, near the Dominican Republic tourist office, you will find an alley called Little Turnstile. We began our meal with Pirogues and sausages, along with a variety of flavored vodkas. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure everyone was well looked after. To finish off our dining experience, we enjoyed cappuccinos and cake at Little Venice, just a short walk across the alley. The prices were surprisingly affordable for London.

On our first social visit to London post lockdown, decided to go back to Bar Polski now that’s it’s reopened. Bit of decorating has been done and all the proper COVID measures have been set up, with spacing between tables and unobtrusive screens set up between them. The menu’s still the same though, with our favourite Polish dishes and beers and the service is also excellent and friendly! In these hard times for pubs and restaurants, especially those that are slightly off the beaten track, would recommend that this little bar is sought out for a taste of something different! I went to a restaurant called Polish Only. I had to go up to the counter to get a menu and place my order for food and drinks. There is a surcharge for orders under £5 paid with a debit card. I asked for an orange juice and specifically pointed to the £1.50 option, but the bartender gave me the £2.50 one, which I only realized when I received the bill. I ordered the beetroot soup with dumplings, but it was a challenge to find the dumplings as there were only four small, undercooked dumplings in a lot of soup. I do not recommend this restaurant for food.

Found this place by accident on the way back to the train station one night and ended up staying for a few hours. Very friendly bar staff that let me charge my phone behind the bar. They have a great selection of flavoured Soplica too, including a hazelnut flavour which one of the best flavoured vodkas I've ever tasted! We paid £15 per round for two double vodkas/apple juice and two shots which I think was very good value compared to alot of places we've been to in London Would definitely like to return when in London again.

I visited this restaurant with some friends and had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, the venue was impeccably clean, and it was tucked away on a charming side street in central London - making it a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The pierogi were absolutely delicious.

Stopped off last night and was not disappointed. Superb selection of Polish beverages and food tucked away in a small alley round the corner from Holborn station.
