The positives: This is the best Popeyes I've had in Rockville so far. I've tried it at various locations, and the quality can vary significantly outside of Maryland. I really enjoyed the Big Sandwich Bundle Family Meal; the sandwiches were delicious and everything was served hot. The 16-Piece Handcrafted Tenders Family Meal was also a hit, especially with great sauces like Mardi Gras Mustard and Sweet Heat. And I must say, the Cane Sweet Iced Tea is fantastic. The quality of the food upon delivery was not an issue at all.
Now for the negatives: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't perfect, and I understand that can happen. We didn't receive any Cajun fries with either of the family meal bun...
Ordered the family special tonight for $32.00, but the manager failed to tell met about the weekly special for the same thing for $22.00 minus one piece of chicken. Very disappointed. Poor customer service. I won't go there anymore. This time when Iordered I asked to substitute another side for the biscuits that I never eat. The young lady (cashier) told me that she couldn'tsubstitute anything for the biscuits because it was a special, $29.99, family meal. That didn't make sense at all. I always askto substitute a another side for the biscuits and no one has ever objected to my request. Food is Food and $29.00 is a lot ofmoney for poor customer service. I won't be coming here again. I love Popeye's chicken but not this location. The staff is generally friendly and efficient. The problems are probably due to management decisions. The store closes at 10:00 but if you go after 7 or 8, it's hit or miss if they will have chicken ready.We have stood around waiting many times. The surly manager got into it with my husband once over something stupid. The kicker: they subbed chicken backs for thighs in my order last week. I ordered an 8 piece box and ended up with 4 backs*. I was too madand tired to go back and argue. *I know for sure that those were chicken backs because I am an experienced cook. Also, it'shard to miss the spine and lack of meat on the bone.
Personally I avoid this location as much as I can. It?s good service but their chicken sandwiches are ridiculous. It?s not just every few times it?s literally EVERY time I go here. THEY MAKE BALLS OF CHICKEN short and super fat sandwiches, trust me it?sworth the extra 10 minutes to a different location.

Smooth transactions and deliciously hot food. The biscuits are freshly baked and not dry. This was the smoothest transaction I've ever had at a Popeyes and I highly recommend coming to this one. The staff were courteous and friendly. The chicken was hotand perfectly crispy.
I am always pleased with the meals from Popeyes! Food is always well prepared and hot!! Thank you DoorDash!! The 8pc meal is great! Well seasoned and is my go to when I need a family meal at the end of the week (or day)!!
I really enjoyed the 5Pc Handcrafted Tenders Combo and the Classic Bacon Cheese Chicken Sandwich Combo. The spiciness was just right—pleasant and tangy without being too hot. I also always appreciate the coleslaw!
everything was unsatisfactory. chicken 5Pc Handcrafted Tenders Dinner were dry hard and tasteless. apple pie was cold and seemed stale. even the lemonade had no ice and was warm. whole meal was awful.

The chicken and French fries are the best I've had at any fast food chain. The red beans and rice are excellent as well.
We've catered here a few times and they are always helpful and they always have all the food ready on time.
