Poppies In The Woodlands

Came in this morning with my friend for breakfast. Unfortunately I was 3/4 of the way through my breakfast when I found a hair! I took my plate back to the bar to inform staff. My breakfast was taken away and brought back to me. I was informed that the cooks hair is blonde so couldn’t hers! I was told the hair must have got on the plate after leaving the kitchen!! My hair is purple and the hair was brown!! I was informed that the hair had been removed and did I want my breakfast back????!!!! To which I replied no! The pub is dog-friendly, which was a nice touch. Our party of 7 adults enjoyed delicious starters and mains, which were served piping hot. The service was excellent and there was a great choice of drinks available. Overall, it was a great place to eat and drink, and we will definitely be returning. There was a good selection of vegetarian options available, which 4 of us chose and found to be really nice. Wheelchair access was also provided. The price per person ranged from £10-£20.

Just been for breakfast and as usual the food was lovely , but I would like to congratulate everyone for making us feel safe in these strange times , every guideline was followed and made for a secure visit , well done and thanks for your hard work , can’t be easy to feel totally safe working in these times .
