Both Fiance and myself are disabled, and we often face problems when eating out. However... Poppins in Bedford was an absolute delight! There was plenty of space to move around and there was some wonderful, friendly diners there too. The Staff there were amazing, friendly, welcoming and this is the first time we have ever felt so welcome. We ate at the restaurant two days running.. and although I had the same meal each day.... I loved it (sausage, chips and beans). Everything was fresh, hot and superbly cooked. As for recommending?... 100% yes, Thank you to all the Staff.. we truly appreciate all that you do!
We came in to Poppins today and my wife asked for a cappuccino with a specific milk as she has a dairy intolerance. She was given coffee with whole milk which has made her feel sick since then, and we are unhappy with the lack of attention to detail and dietary requirements. This was a simple request! :
First time in this restaurant passed it regularly for years always saw people inside. Dinner type of service, a bit dated but clean, friendly atmosphere, polite staff, affordable food. Seemed like lots of regular goers. As it is on High street very convenient for breakfast or lunch.
Poppins is awesome. Really great food with an extensive choice of dishes. Fantastic, polite, and professional service. This is my go-to for all-day meals in Bedford. Walk in, sit down, and enjoy. Shout out to all staff.

Ordered breakfasts for two this morning and it arrived well before time. It was hot and delicious and the driver who delivered was very courteous and cheerful. Will definitely be ordering again
Food is OK, but with the manger ranting and raving like a lunatic put us right off our Food we paid and left. This will be our last time.
