Years ago, I went to Poppy's Place to celebrate my niece's conformation and my sister eats here all the time and recommended this establishment. We were excited to try this restaurant again on July 2, 2023. The Rigatoni Ala Vodka was bland and pale in coloration and definitely did not look or taste like traditional Rigatoni Ala Vodka. Most importantly, my son ordered the Angel Hair Primavera with chicken and got violently ill after consumption; he did not even finish the entire dish! He had all symptoms aligned to food poisoning and is still having bad cramping as I type this review. When I called the restaurant to suggest to throw the sauce away, the lady told me that the sauce was made yes...

Was simply an enchanting evening at Poppy's Place. Was like going back in time to dining at your favorite hometown spot. The atmosphere is cozy, the waitstaff is accommodating and the food is right on the mark. It is obviously a favorite of the locals. Diners at different tables walk around to meet and greet. Although we are not neighborhood folk, by the time our dinner was completed, we felt like one of the crowd. Can't wait to plan our next visit. Of course I'll make a reservation as we did tonight. Seating is limited and diners do not want to leave. Don't blame them.... June Bleich Manhasset Hills, NY

Ordered eggplant rollatini and chicken parm for dinner after a long day. Both were absolutely delicious. Sauce was flavorful (and not oily) and sandwich was nicely layered. We will definitely return! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Today, my brother, husband and I were at your restaurant for my brother's birthday celebration. The food, as well as the staff, were outstanding!!!!! What a nice place to enjoy all of life's amenities!!! I will DEFINITELY recommend this establishment to others. Reserva una mesa ahora

Poppys isn't much to look at as it is old time small restaurant seating area after waking them the bar. But the service and food are always top Noth and you definitely are made to feel at home and a regular even if it's your first time

Little dated but still nice and homey feel. Food was good, portion sizes were nice. In and out in an hour. Good for a night out if you have kids too
