Port Allen Bakery - Reserva de mesa

Every year around this time I get a strong craving for king cake. This year my prayers were answered when I found out Port Allen Bakery ships their fresh baked kingcakes out of state. I've ordered two in the last month. Both arrived on time and undamaged, looking big and beautiful and tasting so good it'd make a grown man cry. As an added bonus, I get to introduce my Yankee friends to a small but significant part of what makes Louisiana so great.

We ordered a King Cake to be sent on February 24th and arrive on February 25th for Fat Tuesday. Today, February 15th, it arrived all broken. To add insult to injury after my husband called and spoke to someone who took the call she said she would leave a note for the owner and he would call us back. He never did. We paid $60 for this cake. We are very disappointed.

Food is amazing! Always! I have been going here since I was 2! Love the place! I know the people personally! They have never let me down. Hard to pick just a couple of things when I go! Bought Mardi Gras Saturday morning and was looking forward to enjoying it and was very disappointed in taste,appearance with fillings. Okay one thing I know anybody can put anything on whatever doesn’t mean it’s what it should be! Not worth it!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is fantastic! The prices for the food are unbeatable! The hot donuts are so delicious they practically melt in your mouth! The service is excellent and always friendly. It’s my go-to spot every morning!

The glazed donuts were fresh, hot, and incredibly soft, even though I usually don't go for glazed ones. The donut was absolutely amazing! Also, don't miss out on trying the jalapeño kolache and the pineapple.

Oh my God! This place is amazing—the food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. You definitely need to try their delicious kolaches when you go there tomorrow!
