On our way home from the beach we decided to give Port Chop a try. Since we had never been here before we ordered the platter that came with everything. On the positive side, the pork ribs were good. Unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing Ican say. The beef was ok but overcooked; and, the French fries were stale. In addition, the platter is supposed to come with twopieces of chicken. We asked for two chicken thigs. What we received were pieces of a dried out breast. We also ordered rice andbeans and got yellow rice instead. Not the type of person to write bad reviews. Called to make reservation. 730pm we were chatting when we realized it's was 900pm we talk to the teenager that took our order she said they were busy taking orders over the phone. Place was empty customerservice horrible. This girl told us we still have to wait 40 more minutes. Finally food arrived 945pm . Unfortunately my friendand his parents their food never arrived. They left without eating. They were watching while we start erd eating. Food wastasteless and dry. Never coming back.
I was very disappointed with my order from this restaurant. The wings were of the typical frozen grocery store variety, cheaply breaded and swimming in grease, not at all what I would expect from a BBQ restaurant. The sauce for the wings was served on the side and there was not nearly enough for the 12 wings in my order. The ribs were dry, lacking in taste, and had very little meat on them that was edible. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
Very disappointing meal. The wings were overly breaded and greasier than you would find at a fast food restaurant. Nothing like the picture or grilled wings they show online. Not only that, but the ?buffalo? sauce they came with wasn?t enough for half ofthe wings I had ordered. The ribs were dry and loaded in grisly fat. Some of the ribs had little to no edible meat on them.Definitely not worth the cost of the meal. I certainly will not be returning.

The ribs were dry and very small, lacking meatiness and consisting mostly of cartilage and fat. The chicken was also dry and both dishes lacked flavor. Half of the fries were hard and the rice was bland. The portion of meat was small and mostly comprised of rice and fries.
I visited Port Chop BBQ with my family this week and had a fantastic experience. The grilled meats and piri piri sauce were absolutely delicious, and the empanadas brought back wonderful memories of home. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Ordered the chicken pork combo.portions have decreased in size. Chicken was dry.it must have been leftover for afternoon lunch.I've should have waited for the dinner chicken I'm sure it wouldn't be as dry.
The best spot in Long Branch! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. I especially love the beef ribs and Portuguese potatoes. So tasty!

Food was greasy, dry, flavorless, and wings had hardly any sauce. I never write reviews, but felt the need to. Wish I could give it less than 1 star.
The rice lacks freshness and is slightly hard. The grains do not seem properly cooked. The meal appears rushed.
