I can’t review the food because we didn’t even get the appetizer (spinach dip) after over 30 minutes of waiting, even though they were not busy and there was only one other table on the patio. The coke was flat. The service was apalling. The hostess was not very welcoming and didn’t have a friendly demeanor. The waitress didn’t even introduce herself and was very cold and uninterested in doing her job. She took our order and then disappeared after getting us the drinks, not even bothering to check on us every few minutes or at least have the courtesy to let us know that our food is being prepared (which is the bare minimum for a waitress). One bite everybody knows the rules! I dined here recently and was not disappointed. I ordered two pizzas, calamari and chicken wings. The two pizzas were the Chicken Pesto and Meat lovers. The chicken pesto was very flavourful-deducting points for the pizza being a little soggy due to the pesto and tomatoes. Giving this pizza a 7.2 The Meat Lovers was your basic meal lovers nothing to write home about. Giving this pizza a 6.9 The calamari was amazing! Best dish of the night and the wings were good too- bigger chicken wing with a lot meat but a little on the soggy side as well. I used to LOVE portobellos but something has definitely changed in recent months. The food came out cold and dry. The booster chair was dirty. The waitress was trying her best but unfortunately wasn’t able to help much. I asked for my food to be remade or even warmed up and she said the kitchen is busy so i would have to wait about 20 mins. I had my two kids with me and it already took 30 minutes to get my food. I really couldn’t wait another 20mins. I was also a bit confused because it was not even busy. The last two times has been the same experience and I’m disappointed because Portobello’s used to be my favourite : . I wouldn’t recommend this time around.

We went for dinner last night as a group of 8. Took about 10 min to get seated and everyone seemed busy but pleasant. Sat on the patio. Waitress was very cold and not personable at all, didn’t give her name or anything. Had to flag her down to get another drink. Food came out for 4 of us after about 40minutes and didn’t come out for the other 4 for another 15 min or so, most of us were almost done eating. No apologies for the delay of even acknowledging it. Awesome early Sunday dinner experience. Victoria was very attentive and helpful in suggesting vegan ingrediant switches for my daughter and her beau. The bruschetta was delicious not too much garlic and had a tasty drizzle of balsamic! Penne ala vodka and the Marinara ala Vegan were scrumptious. Washed down with Grey Goose and iced Cranberry lounging on the umbrella covered outdoor patio. HOME RUN WELL DONE!

Went for my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend : We had asked to do a half and half on one pizza since it wasn’t that busy they allowed it. But they surprised us with 2 that we could bring some home and continue to enjoy our amazing food spending the rest of the night together the food was so good and the staff is so kind that we decided this is our new favourite date night spot! Can’t wait to go back!

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place for you! Great service, great music and of course exceptional food. The owners are always friendly and accommodating, and the owner Mario is very attentive to tables requests. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tasty meal!

Come for an early lunch today was an awesome experience..I meet Tony the chef on duty, his hospitality is so amazing..being a picky foodie..I tried a new meal.Linguine Alfredo.and it was simply tasty...I will definitely come again...Adeola. O

Generous servings all around. The Beef Lasagna was amazing. The Spaghetti with Meatballs was also as goos, a good combo with their Margherita Pizza. Highly recommended!
