My associate and I had an absolute ball at Porteño last night. It was a wet and rainy night and I found the experience perfect for winter. Firstly, the service was impeccable..listen up Sydney! Which showed us that this was no ordinary restaurant, we would go back for that alone..BUT the food, drinks and wine...absolutely out of this world. We ordered the Queso al Horno with Pan for entree..to die for! Then Beef cheek and Mushrooms al Horno as main..melt-in-your-mouth charcoal flavoured goodness! We had Fernet as aperitif and different Malbecs, the main was chosen by our waiter and was so good we shared the giant bottle with neighbouring tables..we couldn't finish it and everyone enjoyed it....

Food was good but steak can be found better elsewhere. Service is okay, they seem to need more staff as we needed to ask for attention multiple times and they don’t seem to pay a lot of attention to the customers. We were also up sold to a menu item that after we ordered (because of their suggestion) we’re told it wasn’t available anymore. Nice venue, food was good but would definitely consider other places for a nice night out to celebrate something

Second was a step back from the first.....The first time we went everything was stars! We came back with friends and unfortunately it just wasn't as awesome. Steak went from wow to good, service missed a step, and things just seemed a wee bit off. Still has an amazing vibe and we will chalk it up to circumstance. Make no mistake we will be back never the less

Food and service were great! I was unaware of the service fee. It wasn't until i looked at my confirmation email again and scroll all the way at the bottom, i noticed the note about it. This 'service fee' note should be in the reservation section of the website Reserva una mesa ahora

Wow what an experience! Delicious food, warm and wonderful staff, and a lively atmosphere! My only criticism was that the potatoes were on the soggy side rather than crispy and mouthwatering

We ordered a pork belly because we wanted some cracklings, no crackling just the meat with fat, Brussels sprouts and steak were divine. The waiter talks too much, he has to calm his farm

Attentive and knowledgeable staff, great food and wine list. Venue was nice, noisy at one point but mostly really good allowing conversation. Highly recommend
