Portillo's Downers Grove

I grew up out here and this is one of my favorite places to come back to. Their Chicago-style dogs are fantastic, they have awesome fries, their chopped salad is one of my favorite salads ever, and their cake shakes are to die for. Not to mention the interior is fun to look at. They have tons of seating. They make food very fast and call out your number with a fun little rhyme. On my last visit i left my purse behind and realized it 30 min after we left. I’m thankful for the honest and wonderful people who work there who found my purse and kept it safe until I came to retrieve it. Thanks portillos!

This is one of the best Portillo's locations, if not the best in the entire chain! The food is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Be sure to try the Italian beef and sweet peppers, and don't miss out on the Chicago dog—it's a combination you won't regret! The staff is friendly, and the place is well-kept. This is definitely a must-visit spot when you're in the area!

This Portillo's is exceptional, featuring extra spacious rooms and over-the-top decorations that transport you back to the good old days. Enjoy your meal! The Chicago dogs are fantastic—just as they should be!

Portillo’s is a popular chain known for its hot dogs and burgers. The food and service are excellent. It’s a pity that their main focus is on hot dogs. I’ll definitely give it another try next time! Reserva una mesa ahora

My go to place! Can never go wrong going here! The spicy chicken sandwich is my new favorite now! So good and worth getting! Don’t forget to join birthday club to get a free piece of cake!

Super cool place! The chocolate cakes shake it to far the largest! I came back to my childhood to mix my cake and ice cream together. If you go, you have to get a dog.
