Food is good as with all Portillos ,staff is very nice.The reason for 3 stars is that food wait time is VERY SLOW !!! This not my first time visit to this location and having encountered this. Management should take a look at this. On this visit my wait was timed at 14 minutes, totally unacceptable. If a person was on a 30 mn. much break that leaves 16 mns. to cram food down and not really enjoy eating it.
Kathy made our experience a wonderful time. I had 2 tired kids with me and she was very kind, attentive, and added to an enjoyable meal after my son's baseball game. Every employee should strive to be like Kathy. Thank you very much!
If you're visiting from out of town, it's a nice place to check out, but if you're a Chicago local, it can get repetitive pretty quickly. It's worth a visit about once a month.
Service was quick and the young man who took my order from the car was very polite, I had breaded chicken sandwich with bacon which was the best part of the sandwich. Reserva una mesa ahora

Update: Nothing new still the slowest moving Portillo's staff of any in the Chicagoland area. Definitely the slowest service Portillo's in the region..
Excellent service and friendly staff. There's plenty of parking available, and the store is spacious. The drive-thru is quick and efficient. Well done!
Portillos is always my go-to when I visit Chicago, good subs but this experience was different, service was kinda rude except for the owner Reserva una mesa ahora
