Located right next door to 3 Sheets on the East side near the bathers beach, we went here for lunch with the family for the first time on ANZAC Day. As a family of four we shared the Surf Board seafood share plate - which had battered fish, chilli mussels, soft shell crab, salt & pepper squid, chips, garlic bread and coleslaw for $55, as well as the Butchers Grill share plate, with grilled rump, sticky chicken wings, smokey bacon, chorizo, cajun chicken breasts, coleslaw and a tonne of chips - also for $55. My partner and I chose this one after wandering around looking for somewhere casual and fun. It has a really good feel about it, wasn't over crowded and had a solo musician singing a few times.Great drinks selection, and the food menu had us interested for quite some time. Last Thursday night, we indulged in a scrumptious steak dinner for $14, complete with chips and coleslaw. The meal was delightful, and the mushroom sauce added an extra burst of flavor. Despite the bustling crowd, our food arrived promptly. We observed families with children also savoring their meals, making it a popular spot for delicious dining.
Family dinner for son's birthday. Noticed a vast range of patrons - all ages, different groups, couples, girls night out, etc. The most mouthwatering, tastiest veggie burger ever!!!! Pickled-onion onion rings YUMMO! A menu that caters for all and a large selection of drinks, wines, beers, spirits. New favourite!

Had their weds night ribs special. A choice of 4 different type of ribs- pork or beef. Served with coleslaw and a huge portion of delicious crispy fries!Great pub atmosphere. Even on a weds night. High chairs available. Great for families, friends or just a casual hang out!
Visited twice in recent weeks, once for the lunch specials which are great value and again for dinner. Very relaxed atmosphere, with entertainment at dinner. The platters for two are good value and the service was good.
Good food and who doesn't like a special!! Atmosphere here is always good and that's why I return. Alcohol is expensive. Thankfully easy access to free cold water!
Have been to Portside on a few occasions and can happily say I've enjoyed every meal I've had there. Great ambiance, platters are amazing and a definite must try.

We stopped by after noticing their affordable lunch special advertised outside. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.
Nice and lively on a cold Saturday night. Heaters on and live music with fast service and tasty food what more could you want.
