had a 6:15 reservation for party of 3. the order was taken quickly. the drinks arrived quickly. Salad/soup arrived quickly. then it went downhill. we waited for an hour for entree’s. when I brought my care to express who I suspect she came to manager and gave a game about how everything is cooked to order. I understand, but 1 hour? then she said well, we have a very big birthday party in the back. that has not facilitated my discontent. nicely told her this isn't my problem. tables that sat after us, eat while we waited. other tables got brot that we didn't until I got it an hour later. the manager said to me, can I make you happy and bring you one? We have been here a number of times but this visit was disappointing. We were there for the early bird menu. Compared to prior early bird menu items, portion sizes were smaller. My veal, hidden under a generous amount of mozzarella, was both small and tough. My tablemate's frutti di mare was also less than satisfying. All the seafood was tiny, to the point that he said he had never seen such tiny clams and mussels. The calamari were overcooked and he had only one shrimp. He also mentioned that the garlic was so strong that it overpowered the dish. The best part of the meal was the accompanying salad and that was fresh and tasty.

our service was very good (thanks nikki,) but there was obviously a big group there that brought us to wait for almost an hour for our eating. my veal saltimbocca was in order, but not great, but I ate everything because I was so hungry. our server obviously reported that we were unhappy with waiting but did not receive a confirmation. it was my man's birthday. probably do not go back there for a special occasion or another reason for one. disappointed.
