Our lunch at Pot Belly was one of the worst experiences of our lives. Despite looking forward to using points we had accumulated from catering a corporate lunch, the General Manager was incredibly rude. When we mentioned we were together for payment purposes, she aggressively informed us that they were understaffed and we would have to wait. Despite waiting patiently, confusion arose when it came time to pay and use our points. The GM's rudeness reached a peak, causing discomfort and prompting my fiance to call her out on her attitude. I was at a sandwich shop during a training session, and the manager told the staff that they must come in person even if they are sick, unless they can find a replacement. This policy is concerning as it goes against ESST regulations, especially if the employee has a doctor's note. It seems unlikely that the employees receive health insurance, making it even harder for them to afford a doctor's visit. It's disappointing to see such predatory and unsanitary work practices, especially in front of customers. Additionally, being asked for a tip at the register indicates that the employees are not being paid fairly.
I would rate zero stars if I could. This Potbelly is literally never open, and even when it is it's an absolute disaster. This predates the Lexington construction as well so they can't even use that excuse. Going back YEARS now they are constantly closing early with no notice, if they open at all. PAY YOUR WORKERS. There are people to hire, if you can't find them then your wages are too stingy. It's honestly shocking this place is even still open considering how few sales they much get by literally never being open.
The restaurant advertised that they are open until 9 PM, but I found them closed at 8:30 PM. It seems that they either close early because they aren't interested in attracting customers or have changed their hours without updating their door or website. Either way, I won’t be returning.

The sandwiches and shakes were amazing, but unfortunately, something went awry during my visit today. I've never had to immediately spit food out before, but the macaroni and cheese was absolutely dreadful. It had an unpleasant taste reminiscent of feet and cardboard.
I wanted to find out if you’re open on Sundays. I placed a delivery order that was confirmed, and Google shows that you are open. My card has been charged, but I still haven’t received my food.
I ordered through the app, and when I arrived, my food was already prepared and ready for pickup. The staff kindly informed me that the straw for my shake was in the bag with the sandwiches.
Everything was wonderful, except that my sandwich had an excessive amount of hot peppers—nearly half of them fell out while I was holding it. They tasted fantastic, but it was quite messy!

I highly recommend trying the Get The Wreck sandwich paired with a cup of chicken pot pie soup. Both dishes are outstanding, and the service is excellent!
