this was a convenient place to dinner before a show in the hippodrome. our server was attentive and eating was very good. a coffee ordered in our party that was delivered quickly, but when she asked for it, she was told that they were outside. She asked for milk, but they were said to be there, and the coffee was sent back. it seems that at the time of order should be announced. How can a restaurant not have milk? would it have been too hard if someone picked up a gallon the next load at the beginning of the shift? the salat also arrived without his dressur. the server sent someone else for it, but it took a long time. the original server got it itself. that are smaller things, but it takes...
eating was amazing! Brussels shoots were really good, crab bretzel was tasty, but mostly tasted like cream cheese. bbq burger and pommes were tasteful and hot. our waiter was initially very helpful, but disappeared 45 minutes after we got our food and then it took 45 minutes (literal) to get our bill paid as soon as we asked. then he did not give us an exact change and automatically applied a 20% size for a group of only 4. luck for him because he would not have received 20% after the bad service at the end. I would certainly return here, but hopefully the service would be improved with someone else!
Food was good and the beer was excellent. Service left a lot to be desired. Took a long time for my beer to be delivered and server seemed rushed. Practically threw extra napkins on our table as she whizzed by, didn't come by to refill waters or check on us. Food and beer are similar to the Ale House in Columbia, but the servers there have historically been much better than what we experienced at Pratt St. It was also rather loud, perhaps mostly because of a large group across the room from us. Restaurant can't be held responsible for that, I supposed, but it didn't help the noise level or ambiance.
The fish and chips are great. The crab Mac could use more punch. The mixed veggies on the side are soggy, ask for a substitute. Management is fantastic! We had some service issues that he worked out like a super hero. There's an automatic 20% gratuity for dine in service. It can get noisy in there but overall it was a good stop for s hungry group. It's semi expensive for standard fare place; we spent over 100 (includes tip) bucks for 3 people with only 1 alcoholic drink, served.

typical bar barbecue-ale house. burger, beer. the burgers were juicy and came with fries. the pulled pork sandwich was good and also came with a good side that served frit. a nice beer selection and these fried pickel were so good. the service was attentive and the prices were not crazy, although they were in a tourist/busy area. when you're in the hood. stop for drinks. the closer they come to the power plant area, the more crowded and more expensive the dinge.
We were visiting from out of town for a Cubs game. The location was perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and patient with us while we decided on what to order. The margarita was really good and I just wish I had a little more crab on my crab cobb salad. My friend had the crab cake sandwich and it was a good size. Otherwise, it was a nice pub style restaurant
very nice place to get some great food that is not too far from the ball park. great atmosphere and great service! tested the Brussel spear appetizer and was surprised how good they were. Do not miss the chance for some unique food when they are in the city!
eating was good, not great. I was warm but not hot. others on my party were happy with their eating.

They ran out of food. Very limited food choice and when we received our food it was cold.
Very fun atmosphere and server was so attentive and sweet!
