We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The manager was incredibly helpful and welcoming when we requested an early check-in. Our room, as always, was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-10 minute walk from the center of Buxton, with plenty of shops along the way. I highly recommend visiting the Pavilion Gardens and the caves, both of which are about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast was served in the cozy dining area at the front of the building, and it was excellent. I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago on a Sunday night for a golf trip. Unfortunately, I left an item in my room. I've called over 50 times (incurring local and mobile fees) and have only managed to get through three times. They haven't returned my calls as promised, nor have they taken any steps to return my item, despite my willingness to cover any associated costs. The rooms and breakfast were good, but their customer service is very disappointing.
It's a Premier Inn, so you know what you are going to get. It's a budget chain, but I can see why so popular. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and it's quiet. Unusually for a Premier Inn the food is not in a chain pub nextdoor as part of a tie-up deal. We only had breakfast, it was very nice. Free parking, but the carpark is barely adequate. Oh well, barely is good enough. They seem to be not enough members of staff.
We were upgraded to a Premier Plus room because of a maintenance issue, which was a nice surprise. Had to ask for another towel as inexplicably only provided with one bath towel for the two of us but it was provided swiftly. Vending machine was out of order which was slightly annoying. Staff were friendly and polite. A bit of a walk into the town centre, but straight down the main road, easy to get out in the car and into the countryside though. Reserva una mesa ahora
We stayed overnight and decided to try a Premier Plus room. It was quieter and overall an improvement compared to a standard room, so we will consider this option in the future if the price difference is minimal. The staff was friendly, and while the location isn't the best, it’s perfectly acceptable. The parking lot is more spacious than it appears, as there’s an additional parking area that’s not immediately visible when you drive in.
Very friendly staff, recommended a few places to visit which was really nice. The only bad thing I'd say was constantly hearing a load sound, i thought it was the air con but switched it off and could still hear it. If you are a lite sleep then it's not ideal. Also can could hear foot steps from the room above.
