We had a last minute need of accommodation and headed to Premier Inn to see if they could accommodate us and our two children. Libby on reception was wonderful, super helpful, super kind and assisted us immediately. She saw how stressed we were and took the effort to even bring us a tray of goodies for us and the children to try and salvage a bad day. What she didn’t realise is the reason for our stay, it was to attend my fathers funeral who had just died of cancer. Libby your kindness made a terrible time, that little bit easier, thank you! Stayed here while working away for the weekend, room was fine no complaints, however I needed to cancel the last days stay early. reception staff said this could be done and to call them to cancel, rang the next morning when I knew I no longer needed the room and was told by same staff this now couldn't be done as they had no ability to cancel the room and to take it up with customer service on Monday.. Other than this just wished they served breakfast an hour earlier as I do love thier breakfasts, but started too early to have one this time, not the hotels fault, just sad I couldn't have one :
Great location near motorway and designer outlet, perfect place for a lay over. Rooms as you would expect in a Premier Inn, clean, comfy and functional. Staff lovely and helpful. Utilitarian and basic place to stay. Broadband service lets it down and kept dropping the connection; Virgin wanted us to spend £5 a day for a service 8 times faster. Easy to find and convenient. Maybe half a mile off the M1. Staff up to the usual Premier Inn standard friendly and efficient. Room spotless but....... no AC, the 1st time I've ever encountered that. Window had been opened and there was a fan so the warm night was easy enough to sleep through.
