The real star of the show here is the location. It is a moment to the beach, a few minutes to the beach front amusements and shops, right across the road from the always busy Bus Cafe, right next to the station, a minute from Dreamland. You really can't be better located in Margate. There is free parking the rooms are exactly ad you expect for Premier Inn clean and comfortable beds. I knocked a star off because our particular room was roasting hot day and night even with the window open at night. It was only 16 degrees outside so not the height of summer I dread to think how it would be then, but I don't know if that affected only our room, only sea view rooms which get the most sun, or just...
This is our second stay at this Premier Inn .. my original review just commented on the location.. which is perfect! From the train station to Dreamland to the beach This time I would like to mention the fantastic service we recd from Jamie the manager .. he was on the front desk due to staff shortage! He was chatty, very friendly and very professional .. He had a genuine approach to every customer he engaged with! He even assisted with my request for chocolate, as I couldn't operate the vending machine, not only fixing the machine, he presented me with a box of Maltesers! This hotel is clean, simple, and ideally located just a short walk from the beach. However, the rooms lack proper ventilation, which was quite uncomfortable. I was unexpectedly awoken around 6 a.m. by a noisy delivery that lasted for over an hour. Additionally, when I checked out, I was informed that their luggage storage facility was full, leaving me with no place to leave my bags. The staff did not provide any alternatives. A luggage storage option that can accommodate all guests is a fundamental amenity. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.
The restaurant would be more enjoyable if the weekend prices were lower. It's conveniently located near the railway station. The hotel is one of the older establishments in the group, and the entrance is not immediately apparent as it can only be accessed through the pub. I found the room to be noisy due to sounds from the ceiling. Additionally, the sink plug was stuck, and the staff didn't seem particularly willing to assist in resolving the issue.

We had a pleasant experience upon arrival. We requested a sea view room, but since we arrived around 4:00-4:30 PM and check-in time was 3:00 PM, it's possible that early check-ins had already taken those rooms. The attendant was very reassuring and explained that sea view rooms are in high demand, but he did his best to accommodate us, even though none were available. Our room was still comfortable, though.
We had a wonderful stay in the back building of the pub, which provided a nice separation from the main building. Our rooms were immaculate, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had room 308, while my in-laws, who have disabilities, were in room 310. The interconnecting door between our rooms was really convenient for us. The staff were very helpful with everything we needed.
Room is basic but adequate and location is great next to the beach. However the room is facing the car park and at 7am in the morning, a delivery truck arrived and there was an hour of loud banging of the delivery cages and metals. It was continuous so it is impossible to sleep. Not sure if this will happen again tomorrow morning and how often this is done.
The room was clean, and the location was great, just a short distance from town and Dreamland, which is only open on weekends. The onsite bar was nice, although it was a bit busy. There were a few minor issues with the key cards, but overall, we had a fantastic couple of days.

Lovely hotel, clean and perfect location. A special mention to Jamie and the team for the lovely note and bubble bath. Realllly made my day. (I don't think they knew, but it was my birthday and it really felt special! Will 100% recommend and will definitely come back.
The rooms are worn and in need of an update. We stayed in the building across from the main reception. The staff were excellent, and the location was perfect.
