Premier Inn South Mimms/potters

Every member of the team were helpful. We had an emotional visit to London this was our base. After a long day with family in London we travelled home to realise we had left a very special bear in the bed. He belonged to me had been passed to my son. Our son was in tears I was bordering having had this bear for 44 years! We called the hotel Karen was amazing, said she would go check lost property for us call us back. Her call came sooner than promised, she had found him would keep him safe. “Charlie Bear” arrived home today the same condition (remarkable as he’s so old! our son cried happy tears. Hotel needs to improve its internet. If you are staying in rooms 430 and above you will not get access to both the free and ultimate Wi-Fi. I have paid for the ultimate Wi-Fi and still have not been able to stay connected for more than 5 minutes. Staff will not issue a refund for the £15 I paid for the ultimate Wi-Fi. I also requested a room change however there are “no available rooms” according to staff whereas on there website you can book a room. I have stayed in a lot of premier inns and never had this bad of a service from both staff and the internet connection. Will not be coming back to this premier inn.

Good cooked breakfast, nice room. Only 3 negatives were 1. The car park was small and you had to pay for it 2. There was a strange slippy sticky residue all over the bathroom floor. I presume it was some special cleaning stuff due to Covid, but it meant i couldn't go in the bathroom barefoot or with socks on as it would get all over them 3. The bar closed at 10.45pm instead of 11. Not a huge deal but we arrived for a quick drink at 10.50pm after we arrived!

The space was fully booked and outside of being fully booked. You can only reserve or book a room online. I was frustrated having to find out the hard way but I still thinks it's a good system. Makes them stand out from the traditional counter booking. Nice one there.

Hotel fine, but the restaurant is like something like faulty Towers. A customer is crying because the food it so bad. It's a reduced menu due to staffing issues. You can cut the atmosphere with a knife. Come on Premier inn, you are better than this
