First time at this spot. Pulled up and locals were gathered around outside enjoying music while a gentleman was grilling/smoking chicken. The vibe all around was good. The gentleman packed my son and I, two nice plates of j chicken, sweet plantains, a corn and white rice. Whoa... the chicken which he said he marinated for 24 hours) was so moist and fall off the bone with j spices hanging on the crispy chicken skin and in all the nooks of the bones. The rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. The plantains sweet and caramelized. s/o to the owner!!! He was so nice and welcoming. We came in later in the night where he was winding down around 7pm. He knew we were first timers so he let us sample the chicken and beef. Let me tell you.. SO FLAVORFUL AND JUICY. He was generous to give us huge portions but probably due to closing for the night.
The food here is simply incredible, and the owner is even more so. He's a great person to talk to, and you can tell he genuinely loves serving people. Additionally, it's the only place I know of that offers Island Vibes brand drinks, which are fantastic. I'm definitely planning to stock up on them!
I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and supporting this incredible owner. He truly has a heart of gold, and the food is absolutely extraordinary! The customer service is exceptional and unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. The food is simply amazing!

The owner and staff are amazing! The food is to die for! Highly recommend the chicken with both sauces! The beef is to die for and the rice and beans are very delicious. I was not a curry fan but they do it right. I love the plantains and corn as well!
This is totally a hidden gem! The owner has a passion for food and he cooks with love. Every dish has its own character and delicious. Guarentee you will walk out with a big smile face like me. Highly recommanded.

Oh my gosh! The food here is so good. I got the j chicken and curry. They have many options and reasonably priced. Definitely bang for buck????
