First time dining at Preservation Hall Eatery and overall it was quite good. We started with the Green flatbread which was delicious, (I would come back again just for this dish)! I ordered a triple berry Gin sour it was very nice. For our mains I ordered the Smoked brisket and again, absolutely delicious, I would definitely recommend it! My husband had the Pickerel Chips it was very disappointing, as soon as it came out you could tell by the dark brown colour it was cooked in old oil overdone. The fish inside tasted fine but the batter was inedible. He picked the fish out left the majority of the batter. 2 wedge salads and a torchiere. They were ok....nothing to complain about but just don't seem as good as at previous times. Bacon in the salads was a little cover done, croutons were quite big, fries looked and tasted as if they were just reheated. No finishing garnishes....food looked as if it was just plunked on the plate. Not in a hurry to come back.
Great place to bring out of town guest to show them how creative the food scene is here in Winnipeg. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistent. They also have a great mocktail selection for those that don’t want to drink.
Collin went above and beyond! The rest of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable too. Food was delicious, portions — enormous (in a good way). Had no room for dessert, so we’ll be coming back for it

buck a shuck oysters were delicious we will be back for more! we also ordered the beef brisket, arctic char, fish and chips and duck cassoulet which were just okay.
The food and drinks were both super delicious. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was super attentive. I am looking forward to visiting again!
I really enjoyed my dinner there. Food was amazing and the staff were knowledgeable.I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent meals-clubhouse and smoked salmon. Attentive staff and great service. Loved eating in the patio!
