A colleague and I almost ordered from Presto Pizza and Pasta a few days ago on UberEats - so glad we didn't!
At the time, I didn't realize that they were one of the small shops between Little Stanley Street and South Bank. I happened to come across them today and decided to try their pizza against my better judgement.
The Pepperoni Pizza was poor - the beef pepperoni was OK, but the crust was hard/crunchy and the cheese was cheap and runny. At $6.50 for a small rectangle of pizza that they cup into two slices, it isn't even a good value (the same slices are $7.50 on UberEats).
I would avoid Presto Pizza and Pasta.
My partner and I visited Brisbane for the weekend and decided to grab a quick bite to eat at Southbank. We ended up enjoying some pizza from Presto Pizza, and I must say, it was the best pizza either of us had had in a long time. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. To top it off, the owner came out afterward to check on how we enjoyed our meal, which is something you don't see very often these days. Thank you to the staff and management at Presto; we will definitely be back. Keep up the great work, everyone!

I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews of The Spaghetti House Trattoria. I had a wonderful experience there last Friday afternoon and I will definitely be returning.
This is one of the best places for Italian food in South Bank. They truly make fantastic pizza! I particularly love their BBQ chicken flavor. It's the best takeaway shop in the area!
Don't be swayed by the appearance or fabricated Italian accents at this restaurant. My pasta dish was disappointing, tasting like overcooked noodles in a low-quality broth.
I had lunch with a few colleagues, and I ordered the BBQ pulled beef pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly.

Even though I'm not a local, I've been staying in the South Bank area all week and this meal was the best dinner I've had so far (out of 5 nights).
