My wife and I visited this restaurant yesterday for a special treat. I decided to try the Tiramisu this time, and it was not only a generous portion but also delicious! The owner is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about her job, as the presentation of the dessert was beautiful. One thing that surprised me was that the owner offers a diverse selection of cakes and gateaux from around the world, which is quite unique. The menu is extensive and full of colorful options. Lynn is lucky to have such a charming bistro in the heart of town. If you're looking for a place that is wonderfully different, look no further! The food is very good and reasonably priced.
I found the Pretty Little Bistro online so we decided to pop in for afternoon tea coffee as we were visiting Kings Lynn and it did not disappoint. We received a lovely warm friendly welcome from the young lady behind the counter and we could not resist having a slice of Carrot cake and a cheese scone. The tea I ordered came in a beautiful little tea pot and it tasted really good from the chine cup, my husband ordered coffee which he said was really good, so good he ordered another cup. We really enjoyed our visit and the lovely 60's/ 70's music playing in the background, we will certainly be back again next time we are visiting or shopping in Kings Lynn.
Following other reviews on trip advisor we went for a light lunch simply but very substantial sandwich plus the most amazing choice of cakes. The cake was fabulous, very light and not too sweet or sickly. All hand made by the lovely and friendly owner, who also makes beautiful birthday cakes. The tea was proper leaves in a tea pot and the coffee was as good as any well known coffee shop in a decent size cup. This will be our go to cafe in future.
We ordered cream tea for 4 and asked for something savoury too! The choice and quality was first class. Fresh, tasty sandwiches, quiche, garlic bread, scones and cream and jam, and the most delicious array of cakes. Tea served in delightful china cups. And lots of it! Our first time visiting King's Lynn and we were so lucky to have walked along this street from the car park and found this gem of a place. Not much to look at from the outside but the window of cakes drew us in and we were not disappointed. Served by two friendly members of staff and the cakes we had were huge and delicious. Very good value too wish I lived nearer!!
Little place, easily missed as it only has a small frontage, but opens up once inside. An array of homemade cakes greets your eyes at the counter. We opted for sandwichs first, which were doorsteps and delicious, but could not pass by the cakes, which we had to have too. Well worth seeking out this little independent cafe. Service with a smile and delicious food.
The best bistro in King's Lynn is owned by Theo. Her delicious homemade cakes, made daily by Theo herself, are absolutely irresistible. You can also enjoy her homemade sandwiches, specialty teas, and a small selection of alcoholic drinks. We will definitely be visiting again soon to support Theo's bistro. Thank you, Theo!
