This branch of Prezzo is part of the Pipeworks area in Swadlincote, that also includes an Odeon cinema, and a well frequented branch of Costa Coffee. Quite a sizeable restaurant with tables on two floors, very spacious, no table being too close, so even when it is very busy, the dining experience is a relaxed one. The best tables are probably to the rear of the restaurant, in a semi-circular room, which offers great views of the local area. In the main part of the restaurant is the food preparation area so you can see your dishes being made.Menu wise, there is a lot of choice from grills to salads, pizzas to pasta, and lots of constantly changing specials. We decided to go here as part of a day out. We were using a buyagift voucher that must have been around 5 years old. we had never got around to using it, as the nearest Prezzo is at least an hour away from where we live Parking outside was ample. Blue badge parking was near to Prezzo. The welcome was cheerful and friendly The restaurant was very tastelfully decorated . Very classy. The tables downstairs were set a good distance apart, upstairs a bit closer to each other. Toilets were upstairs. Wheel Chair Assessible toilets were downstairs. To start, the waitress we had was incredibly friendly and attentive, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of our experience. The Bruschetta starter was essentially a "pizza base with chopped tomato, onions, and an overwhelming amount of garlic olive oil. The crab and lobster ravioli had no discernible flavor. The kids menu advertised sorbet or gelato in various flavors, but we were informed they only had chocolate and vanilla sorbet. I had a wonderful experience at Prezzo for my Hen meal. The food was amazing and Mike and his team were very accommodating. The prices for alcohol were a bit high, but the delicious food made up for it. I would definitely recommend Prezzo for a special occasion. Make sure to bring a card as they don't accept cash payments. The menu is diverse and the desserts are incredible. I had a fantastic three hours, thank you x.

Nice restaurant. I felt there were more vegan options, as other Italian chains exaggerate prezzo for choice, although the pizza I had was delicious. They do vegan chicken, pepperoni and cheese for pizzas. Nice to have a children's menu for the small with vegan options for all three courses at a reasonable price (6.75). The frits were not vegan (cooked with mozzarella sticks).

Me and my husband visited Prezzo in Swadlincote today. The service was really good and the food was delicious. We had the tre gusting pizza and a pork,fennel and nduja sausage pasta, both were really tasty! Would go back and would reccomend.
