You'd have to call this cafe pretty quirky, with its cafe menu by day and Chinese hot-pot by night, in what was a small plant nursery. Tonight I tried the deluxe version of their hot-pot, the all you can eat buffet for $31 each, as part of a group of 4. Each of us had a metho-powered burner with a simmering soup, either chicken, pork bone or spicy broth, in which we cooked a shared range of thinly sliced meats, seafood, mushrooms, veg, tofu and noodles. There were several dipping sauces and we finished up drinking the enriched and delicious soup.We probably didn't need the whole $31 open option, and next time will choose just a selection from the menu. But now we know our favourites and understand the system. Service was helpful and remarkably quiet. It was busy on a Thursday night with tables of young people. We will certainly be back.

I'm going off this café since my most visit with friends who live in Eastwood. My salad sandwich ($6) was a white bread sanger cut into triangles as if for a child and served on a hot plate. When heavy rain came down there was no escape from getting damp even after the Perspex blinds were let down. Roofs leaked and a non-existent downpipe meant water was pouring freely from the roof of the food prep room. None of this is up to the standards we expect in an affluent suburb.

I stumbled upon this little garden Cafe. This reminds me of cafes and restaurants in Kathmandu or Sauraha or Pokhara (in Nepal). Seatings in an open fair, outdoor garden- peaceful!Greeat location, friendly staff, great coffee, tasty food, and great value for money. This will definitely be my weekend hotspot.

A nice setting for this little quirky café with friendly service. The menu is fairly simply but it comes to you fresh and good quality. The coffee, service and atmosphere are all great and it is always so relaxed. Good food, good value - a good time and walk away smiling
