Huge portions, excellent customer service, and great atmosphere. Was really busy for a Monday night, but was seated promptly and checked on frequently. Was served a different dipping sauce with chips... not sure what it consisted of, but it was not spicy and was mellow. Order of chori-pollo came out on a 14 diameter plate and was exactly what I ordered (no veggies or green stuff). Extremely flavorful. Will definitely come here again when in the area.
This is not just the best Mexican restaurant in the Eastern United States; I would go so far as to say it's the best restaurant overall in Abingdon. If I could write a review every time I dined here, I absolutely would, as I’ve yet to come across a dish on the menu that isn’t fantastic. Plus, the house margarita is simply the best! For families, there’s kid-friendly entertainment on Tuesday nights.
Amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, offering unique takes on traditional Mexican dishes. The portion sizes are quite generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Everyone at my table was tempted to sample each other's meals because everything was simply fantastic. The standout was the fresh guacamole prepared right at our table.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! The food is incredible, and the service is fast. They make the guacamole right at your table, and there's a self-serve salsa bar that includes red, green tomatillo, and mango salsas. The prices are reasonable too. This is the best Mexican restaurant (I've eaten) ever. Guacamole made tableside, authentic Mexican tacos with fresh corn tortillas, salsa bar with huge selection of options, friendly staff, super clean, beautifully decorated and I could go on. I live about 30-40 minutes away and will now make the trip just to eat here.
This is the very best Mexican restaurant in Abingdon, without a doubt. Great variety of genuine Mexican cuisine and so many seafood options. The service is great! The food is excellent. They have a steak house, same owners, down the street too, Papa Julio’s, also worth a try. Excellent!
I had a fantastic experience at this Mexican and seafood restaurant. I tried the grilled chicken, shrimp, and chorizo with onions, pineapple, and cheese. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!
Went there with a few friends, has pretty good food and salsa bar. It didn't take long to get seated, so that's a plus. Would love to hear some original mariachi songs next time! Definitely recommend the guacamole. Reserva una mesa ahora
It was my first time visiting, and I really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The salsa bar was well-stocked and packed with flavor. I'm looking forward to returning and trying a margarita!
