I happened to discover this restaurant by chance. My friend and I were craving pizza, and he found this place on his phone. I'd heard about it before but never had the chance to visit. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we got completely lost and confused, seeing only a gas station and a few other businesses. Just then, we noticed a group of college students walking through a nearby alley, and we thought to ourselves that they must be headed to this restaurant, so we decided to follow them. Sure enough, they led us to a fantastic spot filled with college students eagerly waiting in line for a slice or two. Following them turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Bronx Pizza is a wonderful spot that truly makes pizza with love, utilizing high-quality ingredients. So far, it’s my favorite pizzeria in the Bronx. The atmosphere is old-school with a fantastic vibe and attentive service. They have the perfect ratio of crust, sauce, and cheese, and they use the best olive oil from Sicily, my parents' birthplace. Be sure to stop by and enjoy a delicious New York slice here!

I stopped by Pugsley for a slice before walking up Arthur Ave. I cannot describe this place in any way that could do it justice. So amazing, so much love. Just go! The food at Pugsleys is incredibly authentic, and I always go for the pepperoni and mushroom combo pizza—it’s my favorite.
