Super solid Italian spot, and there?s really not many left in the area. My dad and grandmother, who has lived in Queens for forever, like to go to Il Nocello, which is also good, but we were driving by Riviera and I liked the vibe and none of us hadbeen, so we decided to try it. The food is on point, servers were great (attentive but not at all trying to rush us), clienteleis super laid back, vibes are casual but nice, and the host/owner was super welcoming. My only suggestion would be to tint thebig window between the kitchen and dining room to soften the white light coming from the kitchen. Visited my cousin n(I from Virginia) , in Whitestone and yearned for Italian food. This is the most authentic Italian food I?ve had. We shared chicken piccata and a Caprese salad. They brought the chicken in 2 separate plates and didn?t miss a beat fromthere. I don?t think I could have finished it myself if it were one whole entree. The bread came out warm and the water wasalways tended too. The caprese salad could have more then just sliced tomato and mozzarella cheese., like maybe some basil andoil drizzled over it but it was still good The staff is very friendly and takes a lot of pride in their work and ristorante,very clean and welcoming.
I don't usually leave a review after a first visit but for Riviera I wanted to. Beautiful clean place, seating spacious, excellent service. The portions on the regular menu are generous and the quality of the seafood in my dish was exceptional!Shrimp cocktail excellent as well and terrific dessert menu. Our waiter was very helpful and nice. For the quality of the foodand portion size it's affordable. They also have a lunch special which is a good deal although I opted for the regular menu andnot sorry at all. Definitely going to be going back and soon!
We have been going here for years years. We moved to FL about 5 years ago and EVERY time we come up, Riviera is an absolute must. The stuffed artichokes (a special) are fantastic. I can never get past the penne vodka, it?s so good. My husband, on theother hand, has pretty much eaten everything on the menu. Everything is exceptional. Danny staff are just great.Riviera is oneof the things we miss most.

This is a best kept neighborhood secret with the price fixed weekday lunch and early bird dinner specials. Comes w choice of soup or salad, entrees dessert, etc. Great service but can be noisy when full everyone chatting away. Easy meter parking infront free on-street parking just a short distance away.
This restaurant serves some of the best Italian cuisine I've ever tasted. The dishes are exquisite, and the gravy is traditional and bursting with flavor. We absolutely love this place, and it's a local favorite. If you haven't had the chance to eat here yet, you definitely should!
Without a doubt, this is the best Italian restaurant! Danny and his staff are fantastic. The food is incredibly fresh, particularly the fish. My husband and I have been coming here for years, and each time it just keeps getting better and more delicious.
Server was great, one of my clams came out empty so they game me a new one with new sauce and everything. The entree was incredible and got a tiny orange and fruits for free at the end. Highly recommend!

We had here my Niece bridal shower and the food was really delicious, especially the chicken parmigiana and penne vodka. I highly recommend this place for a nice night outside
