Me and my boyfriend absolutely love going to Pumin for dinner and have been coming here for nearly 3 years. Although it seems to have changed hands once or twice the food has remained consistently delicious if not the best its ever been with the current management! I was so over the moon when I learnt they had added brown rice to their menu the last time I dined at Pumin as it means I do not have to break my diet every time I visit. We love the mixed entrée and salt and pepper squid for starters, both are so good! For mains we usually rotate between the chicken pad see ew, panang curry, cashew nut chicken and bbq pork. So... not really an another Marrickville Thai.We got there almost by accident - it was a lunch time and we needed a food. Knowing that there is a Thai restaurant, we just managed to find a car park near by and walk to find it open. I said OPEN as just two days before they started serving the food at the lunch time. We ordered 3 dishes, standard ones just to compare with previous Thai food experience... and got blown out. sooooo nice and so simple. Hangover Noodles to die for...Yet, got a few advices and recommendations from lady who works there for the next visit. Can not wait.
Its pretty darn good.. This is my family 's 'go to ' restaurant when we 're in Duwich Hill. Both the take away and dine in options are solid choices and give you value for your money. As a vegetarian, the restaurant offers me many choices, although I usually only get the green curry. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you like spicy food. The starters are also really good and worth recommendation. <br/ <br/ The dining atmosphere is fantastic with nice music playing and soft lights, as well as the aesthetically pleasing interior. Its a nice place to sit and have a conversation. I would definitely give this place an 8-9 out of 10.
This restaurant is tucked away near Dulwich Hills railway station. It looks really daggy from the outside and we would never have gone in except our friends who live nearby took us there. A Thai family run it. Mum cooks and her son and daughter wait on the tables. It is the usual Thai offerings but they are very very good. Really good curries and they don't dumb things down for farang palates. They do the usual chilli rating system on their menu and if it has 3 chillies it is really hot.My favourite last time was the chilli stir fry prawns with crispy basil.You can BYO wine.

We love Pumin! We often eat in and the staff are always friendly and the food is delicious and served really quickly. Delivery orders are also prompt and always arrive hot. A personal favourite is the BBQ lamb cutlets and my partner really likes the salmon dishes and the whole fish. We have taken our family here when they have visited and they often ask to go back when they come because they really enjoy the food.
We eat here regularly and love it, service with a smile. All the usual Thai offerings are really scrumptious, our friends always want to eat here when they visit from interstate. Chilli Basil anything is our favourite (hot) but salads are equally good. Can't go wrong with any of the curries or stir frys either. They do take away & home delivery too. Eat here!
Very surprised at the hospitality of this small cosy restaurant.The food is typical Thai, but what was amazing was how the establishment treats you. Very welcoming and make you feel like your the important guest in their house. It almost feels like your eating at a restaurant in Thailand itself.The food is affordable and delicious.
Ordered green curry what came was yellow with main flavour of sugar. Too sweet. Was missing the nice Thai curry flavour it should have had. Fried noodle dish was also sweet. Lacking any bbq flavour.Fish cakes were chewy with little flavour.Prices are not cheap. Unfortunately the standard of food does not meet up with the price.

Fabulous food, generous portions and friendly service. Value for money, but the decor could do with sprucing up a little. Take away service is also available.
