Purple Cafe And Wine

An old favorite from years ago that we will not be visiting again. My pasta was not homemade, very over cooked and the peas were so hard and dry inside. It was like eating a bowl of oatmeal. Premade and left to sit in a pot until a dollop was slapped in a small bowl. FYI, the special of the night pasta with a spicy meat sauce cost $42. I inquired if the meet was very special for that price?! It was not. My table guests’ food was equally poor. The service was very poor throughout the evening, except for the bartender. We asked for two checks and one arrived. The waiter did not know anything about the food and had to keep asking others. He must have been very new. He even managed to be rude. T...

I’ve been coming for the Purple Chop Salad with Grilled Chicken for years. I’m guessing for the past 20 years. And I come between 2-4 times a year. For the Purple Chop. It’s that yummy. Service is always great and very nice ambiance. It does tend to be on the darker side, so if you’re 50+, bring your readers or use your phone flashlight.

Noise levels were too loud. Downtown Seattle Purple noise level is really bad, that’s why we always go to Woodinville. But their noise was too much Friday night. Please staff, kindly ask drunk patrons to tone it down from time to time.

It was a beautiful day, so we got to eat outside. The wine selection was amazing. Food was wonderful.
