Beautifully presented dishes with lots of colour on the plate. Definitely priced at as a fine dining restaurant at $30-$40 an entree during lunch. The scallop crudo had all the right elements of texture and brightness that didn’t overpower the scallop, but where was the scallop? The whole dish at best had one whole scallop sliced into 6 thin pieces. The chicken was slightly over cooked as it was the breast and needed a bit more seasoning and the side of gnocchi is not your usual as it tasted more like baked mash potatoes. I keep thinking nothing can surpass my last dining experience, but this place has truly set a new standard. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the service is the best I've encountered so far. As for the food and wine—simply incredible! We started with fresh oysters, olives, and mussels with clams, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we chose fish; both the halibut and ling cod were fantastic. We paired our meal with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay. Somehow, we even found room for dessert. I can't recommend this place highly enough—you won't be disappointed!
Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic wine. We had all the recommended wines paired with our meal. Visiting for a holiday and this was our best dining experience we’ve had. Photos of the tuna tataki and the Bison carpaccio. Also had the agnolotti and ribeye which were both amazing, and the desserts were so gorgeous and delicious. Our server Doug was outstanding. Awesome dining experience. We went late April but the view was still great! Really loved this winery. The service was great. The server recommended us this 2015 Syrah and it did not disappoint us. It was a superb wine paring with our meals. All 4 meals we ordered were great. We also loved the fire pit outside that we could enjoyed a bit more wine at night afterwards. Great dining experience. This place is among the top three winery restaurants in Kelowna. The server's expertise and deep knowledge of the menu added to the exceptional service we received. The presentation of the food enhanced the anticipation of every bite. We opted for wine pairings with each course, and they were truly impressive in terms of quality and complementing the flavors.
Pork was prepared splendidly. The greens on the side were a tad bit salty but they complimented the polentas (made perfectly) subtle flavour. The jus was divine! The scallops, my goodness, perfection! Strawberry shortcake was an experience of different textures and tastes with every bite. Loved the mini meringues.
Booked a date with my fiancee at the Old Vines Restaurant and was very impressed. The atmosphere, location, service, wine selection, and food preparation were all 5/5. The ribeye and spiced apple dolce bread pudding were fantastic. Will definitely be going back in the future.
Absolutely fantastic place! The food is wonderful and the wine is even better! Wonderful service from Curtis (great charm and knowledge)! We also had a great tasting from Lark so knowledgable and a lovely lady! Definitely go here ! The views are to die for. Reserva una mesa ahora
