Queen Vic Fish And Chips

Just had the worst experience with the staff serving at the counter. Staff who served at the counter were found to be extremely rude and unhelpful. They were arguing with each when I first arrived, about who knew there job the best. I wore my...mask, yet nobody else in there did including other customers. When I asked the serving staff if they had rules about mask wearing, they just said we don't mind if customers wear them or not. I said, well I mind and your poster on the wall says all customers should wear masks. I just received a glare! Whilst stood there I noticed the guy who stood there in tunic looked extremely grubby. His tunic was grey instead of white and it had stains all over it....

Yesterday (19/04/2022) there were nearly 16 pounds and there was a waste of money, as the chips were lukewarm and limp. it was unusually quiet when we came there so that the service was very fast and we were back to home within five minutes...served. the plates were warmed in many times and the food was taken out immediately. the chips were hardly warm and their texture was bad as if they were from the frittier and were kept warm for some time. not happy with them and I will not spend my money at the queen vic anymore.

large portions always lots of chips freshly cooked almost always cooked while they wait. well wrapped keeps warm on the way home. Polite staff all employees are happy without delay to serve good eating without ridiculous prices

first visit and sat inside to eat. the shop is immaculately clean and the staff is pleasant. had a small fish and chips. teig on fish was cridp and dry, fish beautiful and white. chips dry and tasty and prices are reasonable

the fish chips were shocking. greasy chips fish brown was frozen heap with die. never again personal ok, but halal chippy is not for me
