Queen Vic Fish And Chips

Been recommended this chip shop a while ago and gave it a go and was pleasantly supprised. However on the last 2 occasions have been a total let down. The time before last I put through a telephone order and the young man on the...phone sounded very confused but my order was an easy one. I collected it and it was completey wrong , as I don't live in chorley I didn't really have time to return them. I telephoned and they kindly offered a fresh order but we didn't take them up on it as we just kept what we had. The last time I came i was again disappointed as the food was barely warm when I got them home. I wrapped them up in the car so they wouldn't loose heat. Sadly I had to microwave chips...

Just had the worst experience with the staff serving at the counter. Staff who served at the counter were found to be extremely rude and unhelpful. They were arguing with each when I first arrived, about who knew there job the best. I wore my...mask, yet nobody else in there did including other customers. When I asked the serving staff if they had rules about mask wearing, they just said we don't mind if customers wear them or not. I said, well I mind and your poster on the wall says all customers should wear masks. I just received a glare! Whilst stood there I noticed the guy who stood there in tunic looked extremely grubby. His tunic was grey instead of white and it had stains all over it....

Yesterday (19/04/2022) there were nearly 16 pounds and there was a waste of money, as the chips were lukewarm and limp. it was unusually quiet when we came there so that the service was very fast and we were back to home within five minutes...served. the plates were warmed in many times and the food was taken out immediately. the chips were hardly warm and their texture was bad as if they were from the frittier and were kept warm for some time. not happy with them and I will not spend my money at the queen vic anymore.

large portions always lots of chips freshly cooked almost always cooked while they wait. well wrapped keeps warm on the way home. Polite staff all employees are happy without delay to serve good eating without ridiculous prices Reserva una mesa ahora

first visit and sat inside to eat. the shop is immaculately clean and the staff is pleasant. had a small fish and chips. teig on fish was cridp and dry, fish beautiful and white. chips dry and tasty and prices are reasonable

Had fish and chips from here tonight and the chips was hard and fish was not very nice Make you own mind up Lived here for 7 years in Chorley and standards at this chippy have definitely dropped!

The best chippy in chorley area by far! Really nice friendly staff, never get an order wrong, big size portions and always predictably great fish chips!

Worse Fish and Chips I’ve ever tasted the fish wasn’t even edible and the chips were hard. I’m very disappointed and won’t be going back Reserva una mesa ahora

the fish chips were shocking. greasy chips fish brown was frozen heap with die. never again personal ok, but halal chippy is not for me

The food from here is tasty, and the portion sizes are generous. A good clean chippy with indoor seating.
