What to say about this place. 1. Barmaid got the wrong drink when ordered, didn’t accept card payment but clearly had the machine for it. Highly suspect only accepting cash only in this day and age. Possible front? 2. Short changed by young bar man (looked prepubescent) 3. Asked where the pool cues are, told it was £5 deposit so got a Fiver out and she decided this was the time to go collect glasses. Deposited £5 for pool cues and at no point did they mention there was No white ball, which was amazingly replaced by a black ball with loads of chalk on it. Not sure they realise the white ball is different and hence it drops into the other collection hole. 4. Asked for money back for pool, told...
I went into the queens pub last week with a group of my friends. We all went upto the bar individually and were all disappointed In the service we received. We were ignored at the bar by a girl who was very rude (dark hair) it appeared she was clearly more bothered about pushing her cleavage up and attending to men who walked upto the bar and were served instantly. To me and my friends it appears the staff are more bothered about themselves and should clearly not be working in a bar.
Worst service I 've ever seen. Heard a staff member say I F-ing hate students after we sat down. When we asked if we could sit down near another group the lady said To be honest I don 't give a F@#k . I asked for a receipt and I got the response Why? . She then later had a meltdown at another table and proceeded to swear the pub down for 5 minutes. We quickly left. There are far better pubs in Ormskirk that are cheaper and have staff with basic manners.
My partner and I went to this pub to watch the Man City v Arsenal game, as it was advertised to be showing Sky Sports. However, 10 minutes before the end of the game, the staff switched to foreign channels to look for the Everton game, which didn't start for another half hour. This caused us to miss the end of the game we were watching. We won't be returning to watch football here again, unless it's Liverpool or Everton!

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and found that there was only one bartender working despite the pub being full of people. I waited for 40 minutes to be served, and the only reason I stayed was because the group I was with had already purchased bottles of wine and prosecco. If it weren't for their purchases, I would have left. I do not plan on returning to this establishment.
After our visit to Ormskirk, we stopped by The Queens Head on Friday night. The bar staff were incredibly friendly, and the dark-haired girl in particular had excellent customer service skills. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
I went to this traditional pub in Ormskirk and was served by a really wonderful barmaid called Cara who was a pleasure to talk to. The pub is in the centre of the town and has a friendly atmosphere.
nice pub with a pool table but don't go there if you want a game of pool. I went yesterday and they had two pool cues neither of which had a tip so you couldn't play. Very poor.

This place is more like a crèche than a pub. The noise volume from kids and loud parents is very anti social. Just going to finish our pints and move on
Called in for a pint with a couple of friends nice pub clean tidy good beer friendly staff what more could you want
