We had a very nice lunch and the prices were very reasonable considering it is more like a restaurant than a cafe. I loved the garlic bread we had for starters it was great! They were very busy so it took a while for the mains to come. I wondered if this affected the shared seafood platter my wife and I had which had some good but also some not so good elements. The tuna was mostly overdone, some of the crab too and the John Dory was dry, so I think they should have grilled it instead of encasing it in a crumb as I noted they have a main on the menu that is grilled John Dory. I LOVE THIS PLACE ! Calling Quell a cafe is an understatement. The dishes and service are fine dining experiences without the cost. They've brought a touch of class to Macquarie Shopping Centre; a real place to relax and enjoy food and coffee at it's best while well away from the hustle bustle of shopping crowds and noise.Each dish has been made delicately and with refinement. As a local of Macquarie Park of 17 years I have tried every restaurant / cafe / coffee in the Macquarie Centre and area. The old Myer restaurant location is reborn - I now visit Quell nearly every day. As I write this I am having a rare treat - their sticky date pudding. It is absolutely divine! The closest comparison is that my late mother made.... The Frankie's coffee blend is absolutely wonderful and SO smooth. Vibe vise - they've done a truly wonderful fitout. My wife and I judge cafes initially on the quality of the cappus. And what an experience it was. I did not know Frankie's beans so I did some research before going to Quell. Knowing that this coffee is served in one of the best cafes in Sydney (Cafe without a name) convinced me to go there with my wife for a breakfast. Food was very good and cappus were excellent. I ordered even an extra piccolo. The owner and barista are very customer focused and had some time to talk about the coffee business. What a place and we are sure we will be back.

Earlier this year, the old café next to Myer had been closed for renovations, so I went past to check it out. The first thing to strike you is the decor – light and open, and it gives the illusion there’s a jungle outside the far window. And the staff: it’s Peter who used to own Eden at St Ives, along with some other familiar faces. The coffee is Frankie’s Beans – very yummy. And the waiter remembered my coffee order from months ago!!Have since taken some friends for a meal, and they all agree: The service and the food are excellent.
We were delighted when we found out that Quell had opened at Macquarie Centre.The staff are pleasant and the vibe is great.The music is excellent and at just the right level to enjoy the experience.The new, modern renovation is fantastic.We've been to Quell a handful of times over the last couple of weeks and always enjoy the friendly staff and the excellent service.On one occasion we ordered brunch and were delighted with our meals.The menu is amazing and you'll probably find it difficult to choose.I thoroughly recommend Quell.
Refurbishment of this cafe has been great. New menu items are delicious and on trend. I cannot wait to return here for another great lunch or even better at night to enjoy the delights on offer for dinner. Our meals were the lamb yeeros, Korean beef tacos and the cheeseburger. This cafe is licensed and will be a great choice for dinner after an afternoon of shopping or a movie. I also love the seating are where you can just have a coffee and catch up with friends. Overall a great space tucked away from the crowds, love it!
Happened to come across this place on my way to Fitness First at Mac Centre, was blown away by the fitout, decided to have a closer look after my session. Was greeted by some of the familiar faces from Eden Cafe St Ives.. had the Quell Pot on their recommendation, baked eggs with chorizo nap sauce and toasted Brasserie sourdough omg needed another round at the gym!! Coffee-hadn't heard of the brand but was assured it was legit, was it ever! Smooth, strong and chocolate tones....Seems like a winner, hope they can keep it up

This eatery is all that the centre lacked.Great service, friendly staff, QUALITY FOOD and they'd do anything to satisfy your demands. The staff is well trained and very approachable. The homemade tiramisu is to die for. I'd recommend Quell to anyone looking for a proper and complete dining experience. Definitely coming back. P.S the coffee is top notch. Good luck to the owner/s
