Please try the steak tips and the ricotta pancakes. This is the best brunch restaurant in Boston and I don’t know how they don’t have a huge waitlist every day. The food is delicious and the service was great. The food is also very reasonably pricedcompared to the extremely nice interior. My girlfriend noticed that all of the furniture and interior decor was immaculatelydone and they clearly didn’t skimp on any of the decor. They also have a bar if you would like to sit there instead. We recently dined here and overall had a decent experience. However, our service was a bit underwhelming. The server didn’t seem as attentive or engaged as we had hoped, which impacted our overall experience. We understand everyone can have an off day, but it didn’t quite feel like the level of service that usually warrants a full 20% tip. My husband and I were celebrating our 10-year anniversary and had a Friday lunch at Railstop. We sat at the bar where Eric took care of us. He was amazing! His personality, energy, recommendations, and humor made our experience even better. The food and drinks are always a win, too. The mac and cheese, Harvest Salad with salmon, nitro espresso martini, Autumn Harvest, Railstop burger. It’s all delicious.
Great ambiance, lovely food, exemplary service. The lobster Roll was divine. Calamari brilliantly crisp that it just cracks in the mouth Rail Stop Burger just melts in the mouth, Ceaser salad rich and filling , the Beer- allagash white soft and smooth ,lunch was a wholesome experience. Excellent food. Atmosphere and service are great, all of the wait staff are very friendly. I had the fried pickles, margherita pizza (pictures), and an ice tea, which were all great. Service was quick compared to other restaurants of its type. Pizza wasfantastic; perfectly cooked with bold flavors and a perfect balance. Highly recommend.
Accommodating staff helped us out even though we were a few minutes late for our reservation. They were welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed a quick meal and drink before a concert! Our waiter, Eric, was a blast and made our experience so enjoyable. The brunch was fantastic, and we also visited during the week for lunch. I highly recommend the short rib hash. Everyone in our group loved their meals!
Good cocktails (love the Bees Knees) and solid food with a few standouts (arancini, crab cakes). So happy to have this place in the neighborhood!
