Just the place to eat on a cold Friday night. My partner's fish and chips with salad was too much for her (she left 4 chips which I ate) and my rib eye steak (blue) with salad and chips (no sauce) was absolutely superb. Also this Friday night's live entertainment (live artist David Robinson) was just right as the backing for a romantic evening - quiet enough for us to be able to talk without us having to yell at each out but loud enough to tune into when he sang what we assumed to be original songs - especially the one about the poor quality of current politicians. This was our fourth visit since the hotel was re-opened and we will certainly be back - especially if they retain the services o...

If you want a pub that is steeped in the Port Adelaide history then this is the place for you! When you walk into the pub it has that feeling you've travelled back in time....I absolutely love it! It's great to see there are pubs out there which have kept their charm and history. The clientele and staff are friendly/approachable and the entertainment we saw on the Friday night was really good. The meals we had were really nice and definitely not overpriced...same goes for our drinks too! It's a good honest pub that hasn't lost its soul...which unfortunately so may pubs in this day and age have! I'll be having my 40th there in a couple of weeks time and I'm really looking forward to it. Keep u...

This pub has not much changed over the decades, still the beautiful dark wood, historic displays but nice modern food. Its cellar is very interesting, it was in the olden days a horse stable and it's said that there was a body buried but was never found. When you go there you may even meet with the former owner of decades, Fred, and I'm sure he tells you all the historic stories if you like.I recommend let you time to have a second drink after your meal, you may even shut your eyes for a minute to make a mental time trip to the olden days to take the great atmosphere in in this old pub.

This was our second visit to the re-opened Railway Hotel in Port Adelaide. The first time was for an intimate dinner, this time we had a friend with us for a Saturday lunch. They had the fish and I had a steak (blue). The meals were superbly cooked and presented and our friend was most impressed with both the price and quality (he was paying). An added advantage is that there are no pokies! We will be back! Reserva una mesa ahora

The pub is situated opposite the site of the old Port Railway station hence its name! Our lunch time family visit took us into the old Port Pub scene, loads of photos and old railway bits and pieces to look at. Our 2 babies scored a high chair each to sit in. All our meals (8 of us in total) were good value and good " pub grub". The staff member on duty was helpful, efficient and friendly.

Have been here a few times now, great schnitzels, must try the the porthouse schnitzel with the chilli topping and two for the price one on Thursdays makes it even better value. Big chunky country style chips and tasty salads. Give it a go if your in the area.

Had a lovely meal here. The lady serving went out of her way to help out when needed . Was a nice family friendly atmosphere and the food was simple yet cooked to perfection .

While the food is good, the owner is a grumpy old man and makes families feel very unwelcome. Not the best place for families to enjoy a meal. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lots of history and character, and serves a nice cold beer. The menu looked good, but I didn't have the opportunity to eat there.
