And yet, when the stars align… Lo Be- springrolled, suddenly servers become shining beacons of hope. Long story short: a tenacious operation, oft bubbling with opulentmorsels gracing mastication. Ambiance swimming in that twinkly illuminated poise, almost fey… waves of floating awe wettingpalettes for tender Rain. One would be remiss to overlook the nuanced detail of this ethereal establishment, authentic andartistic. And, spearheaded and manifested by none other than the venerable esteemed local vision...
If you 've ever watched Uncle Roger, and thought, What is he talking about? when he talks about Wok Hay... You will learn really fast when tasting the food from Rain. They have serious wok hay game! Also, the soup dumplings are amazing... scallion pancakes are great, and made over the top by the curry they come with. Pork Belly buns? Oh yea! Don 't sleep on those. This was my first experience, but I 'm going to guess that I will not be disappointed in the future with anything I order from this place. They are straight up not messing around.
Best Chinese I have had in a very long time. Egg Rolls (2) were super delicious, hot and fresh. They were clearly cooked in fresh oil and not greasy at all. Hot Sour Soup was yummy and just spicy enough. Would have appreciated a pack of crispy noodles. Roast Pork Lo Mein was plentiful and contained lots of pork. They used an interesting spice that I couldn apos;t quite put my finger on. All in all an excellent meal!
Absolutely amazing food! Highly recommend the Peking duck and the soup dumplings. It was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and service was awesome. Elizabeth, in particular, was incredibly attentive and explained things well. She truly went above and beyond.

The food is delicious and the service is among the best. They have a parking lot which helped alleviate the Albany issues. There are very few places I've been that had better Chinese and they are much farther away than rain.
I’m Chinese and I would say it’s rare to find a restaurant tasting this delicious. I really enjoyed stir fried eggplant, it’s juicy, soft, and has a little sweetness to it. All the dishes were great.
One of the serves told me not to come back to the restaurant because I told him he shouldn't tell me how much tip I should give. He's very ridiculous. The other staff are very sweet
Beautiful atmosphere great service! We ordered a couple specialty drinks that were awesome. The food, (appetizers and dinner) was very good.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and incredibly delicious. I would definitely give it a 5-star rating!
The meat in the wontons was not tasty. The eggs and pork were too big. I did not like either item. The delivery man was great!
