Pulled up to the Ralph’s ices in Valley stream at 10:01. The website says that their open until 11:30. Three people are working inside...lights on...sign on the door says open. I go to open the door and they turn around and say that they’re closed. As I look inside, they couldn’t have locked the door but 30 seconds earlier. I guess they’re so popular, that they don’t care about REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve spent at least $2500.00 at this establishment in the last 3 years. I didn’t say that to the girls inside, nor should I have too. With the world sort of falling apart around us with this corona virus, you would think that businesses would be thinking out of the box just a little...like servi...
While visiting family in New York, I had the pleasure of discovering Ralph's, and it was truly a delightful experience! The small, tidy location features a welcoming staff, although parking is somewhat limited. What I loved most was the opportunity to sample the flavors before making a purchase. I tried the pistachio cream ice, which was a vibrant green, and it was absolutely delicious—it's so good that I can easily see it becoming an addiction! They accept both cash and cards.
Overall, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the service is good, although it can be inconsistent. On my last visit with four friends, they received their meals seven minutes before I did, despite my attempts to place an order. A staff member who had just arrived for his shift ended up assisting me, for which I thanked him personally. Despite being overlooked initially, I still think the restaurant deserves a fair three stars.
Two teenagers should not be allowed to be in charge. They were Extremely rude. I bought a party bucket. I asked if we could have cups like they normally give and the girl gave me three cups , I asked for more considering I bought a party bucket and she rudely said no. If you want more it will be .75 a cup. That’s outrageous. It’s a paper cup and I bought a bucket that’s good for 10 plus people. Come on.

The ice cream and Italian ices are fine but the service is terrible every time we go. It makes me feel like a crotchety old person but the teenagers just talk to each other and act like you’re burdening them by wanting to order something. No acknowledgement, friendliness, anything.
It's Ralph's! They have amazing frozen treats, and the lemon meringue has become my new favorite. The staff is consistently friendly, and they always give generous portions.
Must get when in area! No excuses! My friends and I grew up with Ralph's. Whenever I am in area, I get Ralph's! Amzing flavors and variety

There are almost too many flavor options to choose from. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff is very pleasant.
