The proof of any ramen-ya is always the quality of the soup broth and it’s ingredients. Noodles, although important, are secondary. Ramen Nagomi New Brunswick exceeds the mark on broth. As a seasoned traveler to Japan, I will admit that my expectations for ramen are quite high. Most ramen in the area including NYC never get to impressive in the broth department. Nagomi is a true exception.I ordered the miso crab ramen bowl and it was exceptional. The soup is rich with a pronounced miso flavor and the crab base is evident. A must-try spot is Excellent Raven Place! The food is fantastic and the service is really nice. We tried the burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen and the vegetarian spicy miso ramen, and both were delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked in flavorful broth. The only letdown was the tofu in the vegetarian dish, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. The vegetarian gyoza was pretty tasty. The black sesame ice cream was a highlight - a unique flavor that's not too sweet or savory. Definitely worth trying, you might even end up buying some to take home. The tea was also good. Reservations are not accepted, but you can join the waitlist through Yelp.

My favorite ramen restaurant in the heart of Jersey. You must try their miso Crab Ramen (real crab!) and Burnt Garlic Ramen. The broth is incredibly flavorful. If you're not a fan of heavy broths, the Nagomi Shoyu Ramen is a great option. The chicken broth is their signature dish, and the soft-boiled egg is the best I've had at any ramen spot. For appetizers, the karaage, takoyaki, and tofu nuggets are all delicious. I highly recommend the Ebi Katsu Shrimp Bao for its crispy texture and Yuzu flavor. And don't leave without trying the Black Sesame Cream Brûlée for dessert!

Good ramen place in the heart of New Brunswick. Very friendly and attentive staff. Can get crowded! So get there early or place yourself on the waitlist before getting there.Had burnt garlic tonkasu ramen. Broth was rich but missing layering of flavors. Noodle was cooked well. Pork was the clear winner! Best ramen pork! Overall a B to B+ ramen place (which translates to 4/5 Did not try other menu items. The service at this restaurant was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The rocky prawn tempura, huh karate, and edamame tofu were all outstanding. The chicken karaage don, Nagomi shoyu ramen, and chicken shio ramen were all very well done. The place was very nice and clean with great music, good service, and we will definitely be returning.

This is probably one of the best ramen places in NJ. I ordered the burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen and the soup was very flavorful. Everything was excellent but my favorite was the egg. I also tried the cucumber salad, which was nothing special. The wait can be long on a Saturday night, so make sure you put yourself on the wait-list on Yelp to avoid long wait time.

Had an amazing eat there, ate the miso soup was just delicious, and the takoyaki was crunchy and soft and chewy. The atmosphere, although very friendly; had me feeling out of place and overwhelmed. The waiters were really helpful and friendly to me too.
