After being messed about with our original wedding venue Ramsdale saved the day! The planning, communication, attention to detail and the customer service prior to the day was incredible. Aprille assisted us at such short notice and we are so grateful for her time and efforts. Aprille’s experience prevented stressful planning! I took my family to the driving range and then went out for food and drinks afterwards. The range itself was decent, with helpful staff and good facilities, although the range balls had low compression which affected the trackman data if you didn't use a specific setting. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we visited the bar. There was no music, the lights were bright, and the only thing on the TV was football with the sound turned off. The food arrived quickly, but it was overcooked and fried too much, causing my chicken burger to fall apart and be tough to eat. My son's curry and pizza were also quite bland. Booked Sunday Roast after being recommended by a friend. I'm glad we did. As someone who hates the belief that red beef is marvellous, I liked it cooked through properly. And this was, and plenty of it served up with delicious gravey yourkshire pudding, and a good selection of well cooked vegatables. And there was a good selection of starters mains and sweets, should you prefer something else. The cost we normally pay for a mains, we had three courses for the same amount. The food at this restaurant, whether you're ordering at the driving range or sitting at a table, is decent but not exceptional. It offers classic pub grub, but I had higher expectations in terms of quality. Additionally, the staff was not very helpful with providing extra condiments. The restaurant staff were friendlier than those at the range. It's clear that their main focus is on the golf course, which is understandable, but putting in more effort here could make this place a winner overall.
Ramsdale hosted our wedding and we could not have asked for anything better. Aprille and her team went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day and everything was as we wanted it. Every single member of staff that we spoke to was excellent! The food was amazing and so many of our guests commented on how it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend to all couples out there looking for a wedding venue! Thank you so much!
My family had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We made a reservation for a table upstairs to enjoy the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Our server, Chloe, was friendly and efficient. The food and drinks came out promptly. The curries were all generously portioned and delicious. Definitely recommend making a reservation as the downstairs area appeared to be quite busy. Overall, a great dining experience worth checking out.
Had a fantastic time on the crazy golf for a birthday celebration on 1st August followed by a lovely meal afterwards, Aprille and her team have been brilliant, well organised, well communicated, added an extra person an hour before we arrived, food was great, the best fish chips ever , we will be back for other celebrations as the room was spacious and nothing was too much trouble- thank you
My friend and I had Sunday Lunch on 1st October, it was the first time we had been and didn't know what to expect. However we had a very enjoyable and tasty lunch, everything was spot on, vegetables not over cooked and beef delicious. Well done to staff as they were very friendly and helpful. A.S and D.L.
