I was very disappointed with my lunch today. I really was looking forward to lunch today and have had some good food at the Ramsgate. Todays was very poor. The Ramgate has done well with vego food but not today. I ordered the bee n veg fociacia. The menu made no mention of cheese yet the fociacia had lots of cheese in it. There was no aioli as the menu stated. Salad greens means more than a few tired lettuce leaves. I was expect more of so called salad greens including baby spinach not just lettuce. If its just lettuce say so. If there is cheese say so. If the menu says aioli include aioli.A foccacaia is not a burger. If you think it is then call it a burger and I would have ordered something else. Restaurants and pubs need to remember that lunch out might be a lifeline for someone - the light at the end of the tunnel. So when you do not enjoyable delicious food its very upsetting, to say the least. If a 16 year old apprentice was helping out today please instruct and teach them better and don't ignore the vego customers.I won't eat at the ramsgate again and will ensure that this bad review is widely circulated on line and word of mouth. I am a local and I'll be letting others in the community know.

Went at 7pm on a Friday night with friends, wasn't busy at all, we seated ourselves and the waitress took our orders promptly. She suggested entrees, we said we should skip those because we had read the dessert menu and would be ordering desserts. Food was okay, at 9.30pm we decided to ask for the dessert menu and we were informed the kitchen was closed. As the only patrons in the restaurant from about 8.30pm not one waitress came near our table during this time. We weren't impressed and asked to see the manager. He apologised and said we could still order. There were 3 choices, one was unavailable so we opted for 3 serves of the cherry cake dessert, there were 2 left, we decided to share them. 20 minutes later they arrived, the cake was cold and hard and for $8.90 each we were really disappointed. Our priority was to catch up as friends with decent food but this is definitely one place we would not return to or recommend.

The food at this place is amazing! I have been there three times before now for a main meal and have never been disappointed!!! Never have I eaten a meal here and felt like I wish I had ordered something else or went somewhere else. It's a cozy atmosphere and the staff have always been courteous. It's one of the first restaurants I recommend to my friends and family when they visit Adelaide. And location is perfect too especially at night time when you can go for a beautiful stroll under the fairy lights at sunset before heading in for a hearty pub meal.
