Ratskeller - Reservar una mesa

This restaurant is located in the town hall cellar and has a beautiful and cosy interior. But I decided to sit outside and enjoy beautiful view to the historical buildings at Market square and its busy late afternoon life. I had an amazing apple strudel, one of the best I have ever eaten. Also coffee was very good. I appreciated friendly efficient service. It is possible to pay by card but at the time I wanted to pay internet connection was too slow that after several attempts we gave up and I paid cash. It is probably better to have enough money in your pocket in this area just in case.

Lunch. I was hoping to sit outside, but the weather was not wonderful and there was no one, so I dared in. The restaurant is below 2 flights of steps, so I was surprised to see that it attracted a very mature clientele. The place was comfortable, but I did not find the decor attractive. The restaurant is divided into two by a partition so that it will get the attention of the waiting staff. I chose the venison goulasch with potato tipping and red cabbage, which was very tasty and a generous portion. The overall impression was that the food was a good but not exceptional standard.

Moderate expensive and ok food. The staff was very helpful, but as soon as the food arrived, we did not see them anymore (it would have been nice to drink something else). My wife loved her chanterelles and the children's meals were good. My lamb shoulder fell from the bone, but was dry and tasted old, the jus were too much reduced and was too salty. Old decor felt authentic.

High prices, low quality would be the mantra of this restaurant. ordered a couple of carvings with frits. We got a boiled carving that was too salty, the frits were prepared in the microwave. A 4 years old could do a better job in the kitchen. In the middle of the coronavirus, the staff did not clean our table with disinfectant after it was mentioned. I'm so dissatisfied.

Great facilities in the basement of the town hall. Unfortunately, the actual dinner time was not yet available.
