Después de visitar la mayoría de los restaurantes cerca de las fuentes, decidimos cenar en Raymond's. Estuvo bien. Lamentablemente pedí el filete con salsa bearnesa y la salsa fue la peor creación que he probado en mi vida. Erróneamente asumí que vendría en una jarra o plato separado, lo cual hubiera estado bien ya que simplemente la hubiera dejado, pero estaba cubriendo completamente el filete y no sé qué le hicieron, pero no se parecía en nada a la bearnesa. De todas formas, el camarero preguntó si todo estaba bien, y dije que no, pero que el filete estaba cocinado como lo había pedido (término medio), él retiró el plato inmediatamente y asumo que lavó la salsa y luego lo volvió a poner en...
So after reading all these amazing reviews we decided to try that famous paella and we got really dissapointed with it. Sangria was exceptionally good but it looks that paella was rushed to cook and rice were hard some were still crispy inside,awful, over 30years being famous for this. Maybe it just happened to us but it looked like people eating it next to us were not impressed either. The service was amazing though!The best paella we had so far was in Restaurante El Rincón del Marinero. You won't get nice service but food is amazing and fresh, oh yes, it takes over 30min for paella but trust me it's worth it.
We've been to Raymonds many times over the years and always enjoyed the paella. In fact, that was the only dish we'd ever had over the years, until dinner recently when the three of us all decided to have grilled Cherne. The fish was filleted with all the finesse of Jack Nicholson's axe manoeuvres in the Shining. Unsure what we or our fish had done to be desecrated so brutally. Anyway still tasted good but back to the paella next time.
This is not the most pleasant location, but always busy with most people eating paella. This is a long established restaurant and very popular with the locals so expect Spanish food. Other than the lovely paella the menu is limited and the wine a little expensive. The waiter was a little brusque at first but lightened up when we asked for the bill. Well worth a visit.

Ayer tomamos unas copas en este restaurante, los barrachitos estaban rústicos pero buenísimos, nada sofisticados pero muy populares. Nuestros amigos vienen aquí con frecuencia y elogian la paella. El personal es eficiente pero relajado y amigable. Los baños podrían estar mejor, están abajo de unas escaleras.
This IS the place to be with perfect location and to watch the world go by. Sitting here and people watching this place is the best, that’s if you can get a seat. The staff are on the ball and brilliant, the food is even better.
Solía ir a este restaurante la mayoría de los días y lo encontraba muy relajante, con unas vistas impresionantes y precios razonables. Recomendaría también la comida.
Gran bar 1euro una pinta en vidrio congelado, muy amistoso y acogedor lo amaban los niños que jugaban cerca de la playa y usted podría mantener un ojo en ellos
