When we order from here for takeout, it's always so challenging to decide which amazing dish to try. As such, we always order several then lay them out buffet style at home so we can each have a sampling of it all. Their food has never failed to make our mouth water! Never less than perfection! We all have varying styles here at home yet all of us love EVERYTHING they prepare! Last-night we had their homemade tomato soup with broccoli bits , their portabello mushroom appetizer, sweet potato fries, British style fish and chips, chicken pasta, carrot cake and sticky toffee pudding!!! We had a memorable and delicious meal here just a couple of evenings ago. The staff were friendly and the service was fantastic. And the food was top notch. You never know what to expect from a restaurant when passing through a town on a road trip, but this one was worth me taking the time to post a review. PS the back patio, while pretty toasty on a hot summer's evening, was very charming. And if they ever offer the Gumbo as a special, don't miss the chance. Also, they were very accommodating with our young children, providing a variety of food choices.
The building is small and cute at the front, but it opens up directly into the lower level and terrace, which is quite spacious and a bit deceptive. The terrace is beautifully decorated and features planted flowers, along with a lovely shaded area, making it an excellent spot for a bite to eat. The staff member who assisted us was very friendly and attentive. We were too full for dessert, but the homemade items certainly sounded delicious. I would definitely return!
Lovely Restaurant, Clean, Excellent Ambiance, Refined Rustic inside dining, and a Nice Shadded Patio for Outside Dining! Your choice! Chef Quality Fresh and unique Food, Good Satisfying quantity! Their Fries are so delicious, you don't need Ketchup, it's offered, but no need for covering the best fries you'll ever have! D
What a wonderful place! Don't be fooled by the exterior, this is the best kept secret in Creston. It's quaint and cozy inside and bigger than it looks, and there is a lovely patio as well. There are several vegetarian options, and both the coconut curry bowl and the gnocchi bowl that we ordered were delicious.
Wow! What a great restaurant! Our server Victoria was awesome. And the food, so good! The dessert is where this place really shines. Love how they use local chicken and eggs and such. Casual dining but also not too casual for a good dining experience, no yelling kids or anything. Very cozy. 10/10!
The appetizers are freshly made, and the quality of the food truly exceeds expectations, offering great value for the price. It’s a must-visit on your next trip to Creston Place. One of my favorite dishes is the peace garnel; the chutney and aioli make this dish a standout.
