Red Hat On The River

I went for NY restaurant week with two new friends I had made. The experience of eating by the water watching the sunset is next level amazing. Margaret was so kind, attentive very fabulous! She is probably one of the most fabulous stylish servers I have met in a long time. The $45 menu is absolutely worth it. I got the carrot ginger soup which was very delicious felt healthy fresh. I was so in the moment with the whole vibe of the restaurant my company that the branzino is the only thing I stopped to take a photo of because I expected a tiny filet BUT got a full fish it was so lovely! A wonderful surprise. The dessert I got was warm lemon cake it was the perfect amount of sweetness flavor....

Went here on a cold November Monday and was very pleased with my experience! Food was amazing. Highly recommend the Artichoke and spinach dip, Red hat burger, and the butternut squash curry. Their zero proof (non alcoholic drinks) were also great. They even wished my significant other a happy birthday. Wasn't too packed on Monday when they opened up but I suggest you make a reservation during their weekend hours. From service, staff, ambience and the food everything was AMAZING. Highly recommended!

We forgot just how good RedHat since we've spent most of the past 3 1/2 years in CA. What a pleasure, from the warm welcome to the service and of course, the food. The food was as good as we remembered. In addition, any dietary requirements were met (in our case, gluten-free and dairy-free for one of us). The views of the Hudson , including a sunset, just added to a total 5-star experience. Hopefully we'll be able to squeeze in another meal before returning to CA.

The brunch offerings are probably not the best test, but the food was poor. Omelette was greasy, poorly cooked with hardly any bacon or cheese. My expectations for an omelette this expensive and from a French styled restaurant are much different. Reserva una mesa ahora

We got married here on a rainy day and it was perfect! The restaurant was warm and cozy and the night felt like one big dinner party. It was exactly what we wanted! Thank you so much Red Hat!

Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings and seconds and thirds if you desired. I was quite hard to with my one plate and the atmosphere excellent. I will return soon.
