Red Light - Reservar una mesa

Quite the most dreadful bar I can ever recall visiting. We were charged £10 a head for entry in exchange for a glass of lukewarm Prosecco, only to be offered a selection of mediocre cocktails presented for sale on a menu created using MS Word 2003. When the drinks did arrive they were served in a selection of washed out jam jars and translucent glasses that must surely have been stolen from my late grandmother’s estate (she died many years ago, but she did enjoy 70s style pyrex tumblers). And the cocktails themselves seemed to have been dreamed up by a selection of inebriated students participating in a ‘wacky’ RAG week challenge. Instead of Old Fashioneds and Long Island Iced Teas, we were treated to a Marmite and malt mash topped with a Malteser. Oh, and a very drunk woman licked my wife’s face. NB You do, though, have to pretend to use a phone to gain entry so, on balance, fifty quid for two cocktails that might have been bought for a fiver at M&S was well worth it.

Brought my sister and brother in law here on Saturday night. I’ve been before and have absolutely loved the cocktails and the atmosphere of the red light. So it was a no brainier to bring the family here to waow them. We arrived having already been out drinking all day, so none the less we where, three sheets to the wind. The cocktails we got where gorgeous although my sister got one she didn’t like but, that was just a taste preference. The service from the guy that looked after us and a girl as well, they where lovely! Will always return and will always bring family and friends when they visit. So thank you for just being you!:

Arrived at 11pm, thankfully we booked ahead of time as they were turning people away in front of us! We were taken to our seats by a lovely waitress, and shown the menus. The cocktails were incredible; I simply said to the bartender what cocktails I usually enjoyed, and he came up with the best cocktail I’d ever had. Talent! The ambience was incredible, both my partner and I had a great time! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bristol!

I have already recommended this place to a few people since going. I had to rate food although I didn't eat. The staff were lovely, drink was tasty, music was a good vibe to the speakeasy charm. Worth a visit past 7pm, made for a cute date stop.

Its a nice place but ciuld do so much more and so much better. Would help if they cleaned the toilets. Overall very average experience
