I 've been to this pub several times since it has got new ownership and each time I have left severely disappointed. I have given it a fair try each time but rude staff, refusal to serve you unless you are a regular who are allowed to stay for lock ins whilst everyone else is turfed out before the pub closes and charging on entry for live music for a local pub is obscene. The attitude of staff when even just asking for water was appalling, and needs a severe shake up. Cant comment on the food, but with wetherspoons down the road I doubt many are eating there anyways. Won 't be going back anytime soon.
John put in a little dance party Friday 9th March and it was amazing .... all ages there.... fantastic dance dj's that we're all top quality..... wonderfully friendly mix of people....zero issues......the best nights are always small venues and I had the best night ever with very friendly people
This fantastic pub is run by a stylish owner who may resemble Liam Gallagher from a bargain store, but has the attitude to match. Service and atmosphere both receive a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying their pint of cider.
We parked our campervan overnight for free and enjoyed a delicious meal at the pub. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting. The menu offered a variety of options and I chose the chicken shawarma, which was absolutely delicious.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. My friend was asked to leave in a rude manner simply because he ordered a cup of tea. I recommend everyone to stay away from this place until there is new ownership.
I stopped by this restaurant because The Wheatsheaf wasn't serving food. The mint and Red Lion cheese burger was amazing - the best burger I've had in a long time. It was cooked perfectly.
I would rate the atmosphere a 6 when I'm there, but unfortunately, it's not an option to choose. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5.
Prefect pub for a friendly welcome, great priced pint and if you’re looking for more, live music and comedy. A must visit when you find yourself in Malvern.
